Abstract

A user-replaceable e-liquid reservoir for dispensing e-liquid, the reservoir being inserted into, or otherwise attached to, a portable, personal e-cigarette device and engaging with an electrical or electronic pump fluid transfer system in the device, the device including: an electrical or electronic pump, being configured to transfer e-liquid from the e-liquid reservoir to an atomizing unit in the device, the pump delivering a pre-defined or variable quantity of e-liquid from the reservoir; and in which the reservoir is not user-refillable.

Claims (24)

. A portable electronic vaping system that includes (i) a battery and (ii) a body that contains the battery and that is configured to receive and store at the same time four e-liquid cartridges.

. The vaping system of claim 1 that includes a mouthpiece that is configured to be removable from the body.

. The vaping system of claim 1 that includes a mouthpiece that is configured to be lifted up from the body by a user.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the body includes a compartment that is configured to receive and store the four e-liquid cartridges when those cartridges are inserted into the compartment.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the body has a long axis and is configured to receive and store four e-liquid cartridges when those cartridges are inserted into the body in a direction parallel to that long axis.

. The vaping system of claim 1 that is configured to receive and store the four e-liquid cartridges arranged so that each e-liquid reservoir is adjacent to at least one other e-liquid cartridge.

. The vaping system of claim 1 that is configured to receive and store the four e-liquid cartridges arranged so that in use, the four e-liquid cartridges occupy substantially the entire width of the body.

. The vaping system of claim 1 that is configured to enable an inhaled vapour to be created using liquid from a single specific user-selected e-liquid cartridge inserted into the body.

. The vaping system of claim 1 that is configured to enable an inhaled vapour to be created using liquid from two or more user-selected e-liquid cartridges inserted into the body.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the e-liquid cartridges are each individually user insertable into the body.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the e-liquid cartridges are pre-filled and are not user re-fillable.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the e-liquid cartridges are user re-fillable.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which each liquid cartridge is configured to be insertable into the device in only a single orientation.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which different e-liquid cartridges have different flavors of e-liquid.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which different e-liquid cartridges have a different strength of nicotine.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which at least one e-liquid cartridge has zero nicotine.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which each e-liquid cartridge has a generally rectangular shape when seen from the side.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which, in use, the four e-liquid cartridges are positioned in the device and each cartridge is configured to provide e-liquid for atomisation and for atomised vapour to flow into a mouthpiece for inhalation.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which, in use, the four e-liquid cartridges are positioned in the device and one user-selected cartridge provides e-liquid for atomisation and for atomised vapour to flow into a mouthpiece for inhalation.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the battery is positioned at one end of the body and the four e-liquid cartridges are positioned towards the opposite end of the body.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the battery is rechargeable and the body includes a power socket, such as a USB power socket.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the body has a flat base and the body is configured to rest facing up when the body is positioned on a flat surface, and the body includes a compartment that is configured to receive the four e-liquid cartridges when the cartridges are lowered vertically down into the compartment.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which the body includes an indicator to display the battery level.

. The vaping system of claim 1 in which each e-liquid cartridge is configured to be pre-filled with one specific substance, or a predetermined mixture of two or more substances.
