an inductive charging coil configured to generate a current in response to a magnetic field, wherein the current is usable to recharge the curved battery,

wherein the one or more components are electrically coupled with the printed circuit board and the curved battery, the one or more components comprising:

an accelerometer, a gyroscope, or both, configured to detect physical movement of the user;

a first light emitting diode (LED) configured to emit visible light and a second LED configured to emit one of infrared light or near-infrared light; and

one or more light sensors configured to detect one or more of the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light to support measurement of a heart rate and a blood oxygenation level of the user.

3 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the inductive charging coil is positioned within the housing, and wherein the inductive charging coil is subjected to the magnetic field through the interior surface of the wearable ring device.

4 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the inductive charging coil is positioned within the housing, and wherein the inductive charging coil is subjected to the magnetic field through the exterior surface of the wearable ring device.

5 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the wearable ring device is associated with a ring size, and wherein a size of the inductive charging coil is based at least in part on the ring size.

6 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the housing comprises a metallic material and one or more windows, and wherein the inductive charging coil is positioned within the housing beneath the one or more windows.

7 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the inductive charging coil spans 360° around the housing of the wearable ring device.

8 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the inductive charging coil is positioned between an edge of the wearable ring device and the printed circuit board.

9 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein:

the external housing comprises metallic material and has an internal surface, a first flange, and a second flange, wherein the internal surface, the first flange, and the second flange define an internal space of the external housing, and

the internal housing comprises an internal potting that at least partially fills the internal space of the external housing, wherein at least a portion of the internal potting comprises the interior surface of the wearable ring device.

10 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the physical movement is associated with a gesture of the user, and wherein, in response to the gesture, the wearable ring device is configured to send a signal that is configured to cause an external device to perform one or more functions.

11 . The wearable ring device of claim 2 , wherein the housing has a width between 3 mm and 8 mm.

12 . A wearable ring device configured to be worn on a finger of a user, the wearable ring device comprising:

a housing having an interior diameter between 12 mm and 24 mm and an exterior diameter between 18 mm and 30 mm, the housing comprising an exterior surface of the wearable ring device and an interior surface of the wearable ring device that is configured to contact the user when the wearable ring device is worn by the user;

a curved battery having a size and shape configured to fit within a curved portion of the housing;

a printed circuit board electrically coupled with the curved battery;

an inductive charging coil positioned within the housing and configured to generate, based at least in part on being subjected to a magnetic field through the interior surface of the wearable ring device, a current that is usable to recharge the curved battery; and

one or more components electrically coupled with the curved battery and the printed circuit board, the one or more components comprising:

an accelerometer, a gyroscope, or both, configured to detect physical movement of the user;

a first light emitting diode (LED) configured to emit visible light and a second LED configured to emit one of infrared light or near-infrared light; and

one or more light sensors configured to detect one or more of the visible light, the infrared light, or the near-infrared light emitted to support measurement of a heart rate and a blood oxygenation level of the user.

13 . The wearable ring device of claim 12 , wherein a size of the inductive charging coil is based at least in part on a size of the wearable ring device.

14 . The wearable ring device of claim 12 , wherein the housing comprises a metallic material and one or more windows, and wherein the inductive charging coil is positioned within the housing beneath the one or more windows.

15 . The wearable ring device of claim 12 , wherein the inductive charging coil spans 360° around the housing of the wearable ring device.

16 . The wearable ring device of claim 12 , wherein:

the housing comprises an external housing and an internal housing,

the external housing comprises metallic material and has an internal surface, a first flange, and a second flange, wherein the internal surface, the first flange, and the second flange at least partially enclose an internal space of the external housing, and

the internal housing comprises an internal potting that at least partially fills the internal space of the external housing, wherein at least a portion of the internal potting comprises the interior surface of the wearable ring device, and wherein the external housing and the internal potting together enclose the curved battery, the printed circuit board, and the one or more components within the housing.
