Abstract

Methods of treating patients diagnosed with cancer harboring an IDH-1 mutation are provided, including the therapeutic administration of a certain inhibitor of a mutant IDH-1 as a single agent, or in combination with azacitidine (AZA).

16 . A method of treating an adult patient with acute myeloid leukemia having a susceptible IDH1 mutation as detected by an FDA-approved test, comprising administering to the patient having acute myeloid leukemia having a susceptible IDH1 mutation as detected by an FDA-approved test, 150 mg of olutasidenib once daily.

17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the olutasidenib is orally administered to the patient.

18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the olutasidenib is administered as a Type A solid form.

19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the olutasidenib is administered in a 150 mg strength unit dosage form.

20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the susceptible IDH1 mutation is a R132X mIDH-1 mutation.

21 . The method of claim 16 , wherein acute myeloid leukemia is relapsed or refractory.

22 . A method of treating a transfusion-dependent adult patient with acute myeloid leukemia having a susceptible IDH1 mutation as detected by an FDA-approved test, comprising administering to the patient having a transfusion-dependent adult patient with acute myeloid leukemia having a susceptible IDH1 mutation as detected by an FDA-approved test, 150 mg of olutasidenib once daily.

23 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the olutasidenib is orally administered to the patient.

24 . The method of claim 23 , wherein the olutasidenib is administered as a Type A solid form.

25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the olutasidenib is administered in a 150 mg strength unit dosage form.

26 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the susceptible IDH1 mutation is a R132X mIDH-1 mutation.

27 . The method of claim 22 , wherein acute myeloid leukemia is relapsed or refractory.
