METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SCHEDULING REQUEST AND BUFFER STATUS REPORTING OPERATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Provided are techniques for scheduling request (SR) and buffer status report (BSR) operation. A user equipment (UE) receives first signaling that indicates a first duration of a first timer. The buffer status report (BSR) is triggered, and the UE triggers the SR in response to the BSR being triggered. In response to the SR being triggered, the UE transmits an SR signal based on a running state of the first timer. In response to transmitting the first SR signal, the UE starts the first timer in response to a type of the BSR being a regular BSR, or the UE starts the first timer and sets the first timer to the first duration in response to the type of the BSR being the regular BSR.
