Abstract

An apparatus for cell activation or deactivation, configured in a terminal equipment, includes: a receiver configured to receive a cell switch command including an information indicating an index of candidate configuration transmitted by a network device; and processor circuitry configured to activate or deactivate a cell in a first cell group comprising a target cell according to conditions related to cell activation or deactivation, the target cell corresponding to a target configuration indicated by the information indicating the index of candidate configuration included in the cell switch command.

Claims (66)

1 . An apparatus for cell activation or deactivation, configured in a terminal equipment, the apparatus comprising:

a receiver configured to receive a cell switch command including an information indicating an index of candidate configuration transmitted by a network device; and

processor circuitry configured to activate or deactivate a cell in a first cell group comprising a target cell according to conditions related to cell activation or deactivation, the target cell corresponding to a target configuration indicated by the information indicating the index of candidate configuration included in the cell switch command.

2 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, the conditions related to cell activation or deactivation comprise the cell switch command is received.

3 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, the conditions related to cell activation or deactivation comprise:

a secondary cell activation/deactivation media access control control element or an enhanced secondary cell activation/deactivation media access control control element is received.

4 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, the conditions related to cell activation or deactivation comprise:

an activation or deactivation state of the cell configured by radio resource control signaling.

5 . The apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein, the candidate configuration includes cell state information or does not include cell state information.

6 . The apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein,

when the candidate configuration includes the cell state information, the state configured by the radio resource control signaling is activation state;

when the candidate configuration does not include the cell state information, the state configured by the radio resource control signaling is deactivation state.

7 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein,

the conditions related to cell activation or deactivation comprise: an activation or deactivation state of a secondary cell group where the cell is located configured by radio resource control signaling.

8 . The apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein, the candidate configuration does not include state information of the secondary cell group.

9 . The apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein,

when the candidate configuration includes state information of the secondary cell group, the state configured by the radio resource control signaling is deactivation state;

when the candidate configuration does not include state information of the secondary cell group, the state configured by the radio resource control signaling is activation state.

10 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein,

the conditions related to cell activation or deactivation comprise: a state of a deactivation timer of a secondary cell,

and the terminal equipment activates or deactivates the cell according to the state of the deactivation timer of the secondary cell.

11 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

that the processor circuitry activates the cell includes at least one of the following:

respectively activating an uplink bandwidth part and a downlink bandwidth part configured by radio resource control signaling or indicated by the cell switch command;

activating sounding reference signal transmission on the cell;

activating channel state information report of the cell;

activating physical downlink control channel monitoring of the cell;

activating physical downlink control channel monitoring on the cell;

activating physical uplink control channel transmission on the cell, if the physical uplink control channel transmission is configured;

starting or restarting a secondary cell deactivation timer associated with the cell;

initializing a suspended and configured uplink grant of configured grant Type 1 associated with the cell, if the uplink grant exists;

triggering a power headroom report;

triggering a buffer status report; and

initializing a random access channel.

12 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein that the processor circuitry deactivates the cell includes at least one of the following:

not transmitting a sounding reference signal on the cell, unless a condition is satisfied;

not reporting channel state information of the cell, unless a condition is satisfied;

not transmitting an uplink shared channel on the cell;

not transmitting a random access channel on the cell, unless a condition is satisfied;

not monitoring a physical downlink control channel on the cell;

not monitoring a physical downlink control channel of the cell, unless a condition is satisfied; and

not transmitting a physical uplink control channel on the cell.

13 . The apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the condition comprises at least one of the following:

the cell is included in candidate configuration carried by the cell switch command;

a network device indicates allowed; and

a network device triggers.

14 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein,

the processor circuitry activates the cell at a slot receiving an activation indication; or,

the processor circuitry activates the cell within a time T after the slot receiving the activation indication.

15 . The apparatus according to claim 14 , wherein,

if the cell is a secondary cell, the time T at least includes application delay of timing advance on a special cell of the first cell group where the cell is located;

if the cell is a primary secondary cell, the time T at least includes application delay of timing advance on the cell;

wherein,

the time T does not include at least one of radio resource control processing delay, delay of obtaining an effective timing advance command, and a time of channel state information report.

16 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein, the processor circuitry deactivates the cell at a slot receiving a deactivation indication.

17 . An apparatus for cell activation or deactivation, configured in a network device, the apparatus comprising:

a transmitter configured to transmit a cell switch command including an information indicating an index of candidate configuration to a terminal equipment, the cell switch command being used by the terminal equipment to activate or deactivate a cell in a first cell group comprising a target cell according to conditions related to cell activation or deactivation, the target cell corresponding to a target configuration indicated by the information indicating the index of candidate configuration included in the cell switch command.

18 . The apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein:

the transmitter further transmits radio resource control signaling to the terminal equipment,

wherein, the radio resource control signaling configuring an activation or deactivation state of a cell or an activation or deactivation state of a secondary cell group where a cell is located,

and wherein, the state of a cell or the state of the secondary cell group being used by the terminal device to activate or deactivate the cell in the first cell group comprising a target cell, the target cell corresponding to a target configuration indicated by the information indicating the index of candidate configuration included in the cell switch command.

19 . The apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein:

the candidate configuration does not include state information of secondary cell group.

20 . A communication system, comprising a network device and a terminal equipment, wherein,

the terminal equipment is configured to receive a cell switch command including an information corresponding to an index of candidate configuration transmitted by the network device, and activate or deactivate a cell in a first cell group comprising a target cell according to conditions related to cell activation or deactivation, the target cell corresponding to a target configuration indicated by the information indicating the index of candidate configuration included in the cell switch command; and/or,

the network device is configured to transmit the cell switch command to the terminal equipment, the cell switch command being used by the terminal equipment to activate or deactivate a cell in a first cell group comprising a target cell according to conditions related to cell activation or deactivation, the target cell corresponding to a target configuration indicated by the information indicating the index of candidate configuration included in the cell switch command.
