CARTRIDGE AND SYSTEM
A cartridge according to the embodiment is a cartridge in which performs processing of a cell is performed and includes a channel through which a reagent used in the processing flows, a connection configured to connect a reagent container containing the reagent to the channel, and an opening/closing portion for connecting the reagent container to the connection and placing the reagent container in the cartridge.
1 . A cartridge in which processing of a cell is performed, the cartridge comprising:
a channel through which a reagent used in the processing flows;
a connection configured to connect a reagent container containing the reagent to the channel; and
an opening/closing portion for connecting the reagent container to the connection and placing the reagent container in the cartridge.
2 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , further comprising an information holder configured to hold identification information for identifying the cartridge.
3 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , further comprising a processor configured to detect that the opening/closing portion has been opened.
4 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a plurality of the opening/closing portions; and
an opening/closing drive mechanism configured to open and close the opening/closing portion and a processor configured to control the opening/closing drive mechanism.
5 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein
the cartridge is used, being mounted on a cell processing device configured to control execution of the processing of a cell in the cartridge,
the cartridge comprises a plurality of the opening/closing portions, and
the opening/closing portions each comprise an opening/closing drive mechanism configured to open and close the opening/closing portion based on control by the cell processing device.
6 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a plurality of the opening/closing portions; and
a plurality of notifiers configured to notify a user of the opening/closing portion corresponding to the connection to which the reagent container is to be connected.
7 . The cartridge according to claim 6 , wherein the notifiers notify the user of the opening/closing portion corresponding to the connection to which the reagent container is to be connected by emitting light.
8 . The cartridge according to claim 7 , wherein the notifiers notify the user by emitting light that corresponds to the reagent container to be placed.
9 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , wherein
the opening/closing portion comprises a hinged door configured to open toward outside of the cartridge, and
the hinged door comprises a holder that holds the connection configured to connect the reagent container.
10 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a holder that holds the connection configured to connect the reagent container, wherein
the holder moves from an opening of the opening/closing portion so as to face outside of the cartridge as the opening/closing portion is opened.
11 . The cartridge according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a plurality of the opening/closing portions; and
a display unit configured to indicate correspondence between the reagent container to be placed and the opening/closing portion.
12 . A system comprising the cartridge according to claim 5 and the cell processing device, wherein the cell processing device comprises a processor configured to control the opening/closing drive mechanism of the mounted cartridge.
13 . The system according to claim 12 , wherein the processor determines an opening/closing portion to be opened out of the opening/closing portions, based on identification information of the reagent.
14 . A system comprising the cartridge according to claim 6 and a cell processing device on which the cartridge is mounted, wherein the cell processing device comprises a processor configured to determine a notifier to be caused to make notification out of the notifiers, based on identification information of the reagent.
15 . A system comprising the cartridge according to claim 2 and a cell processing device on which the cartridge is mounted, wherein
the information holder of the cartridge includes a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, and
the cell processing device comprises a processor configured to determine whether an article is lacking based on the RFID tag of the information holder and an RFID tag attached to the reagent container.
