Abstract

A computer-implement method and computer system may be configured to facilitate insurance claim processing and estate handling. An audible or visible chatbot avator or doppelgänger may lead a trustee, beneficiary, or family member through the estate of an impaired or deceased user. A computer system may have been provided with, or gather, sample voice and visual recordings associated with a user that are used to build the chatbot avatar that simulates the user audibly and/or visually. The computer system may have previously prompted the user for necessary items to properly handle their estate, such as information related to financial accounts, loans, insurance policies, etc. and user names and passwords to various electronic accounts.

Claims (78)

1 . A computer-implemented method for establishing a conversation session with a beneficiary and processing a digital file, the computer-implemented method comprising:

receiving, by a processor and from a computing device, a first digital file and a request to access an asset of a customer,

the request indicating an identity of the customer and an occurrence of an event associated with the customer, and

the first digital file certifying the event;

based on receiving the request and the first digital file, establishing, by the processor, a conversation session with a beneficiary of the customer via the computing device;

verifying, by the processor and via the conversation session, the identity indicated in the request matches an actual identity of the customer;

based on verifying the identity matches the actual identity, generating, by the processor, a second digital file corresponding to the request; and

transmitting, by the processor and to the computing device, information indicating an action required for processing the second digital file,

wherein receipt of the information by the computing device causes a display of the computing device to indicate the action.

2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving, by the processor, information identifying a user authorized to access the asset of the customer; and

sending, by the processor, based on the information, and to the computing device, an executable link to a computer application operable to connect to a service provider of the asset.

3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 2 , wherein the request to access the asset of the customer is generated through the computer application executing on the computing device, and the computer-implemented method further comprise:

receiving, by the processor and from the computing device, an input indicating selection of the action,

wherein the selection of the action allows the computer application to track a status of the digital file.

4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating, by the processor, a profile of the customer, the profile identifying the asset of the customer and the actual identity of the customer; and

generating, by the processor and using a machine learning model, an avatar of the customer based on the profile,

wherein the conversation session is established with the avatar of the customer.

5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 4 , further comprising:

obtaining, by the processor, with an authorization of the customer and from a third-party platform, digital data associated with the customer; and

based at least on the digital data, generating, by the processor and using the machine learning model, a baseline personality of the avatar, the baseline personality being similar to a personality of the customer,

wherein the digital data includes at least one of voice recordings, images, videos, or answers to questions.

6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the conversation session is a verbal conversation, and the information indicating the action required for processing the digital file is transmitted via the verbal conversation.

7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining, by the processor and based on the occurrence of the event, a category to which the digital file corresponds, wherein the category includes at least one of life insurance, health insurance, home insurance, or auto insurance.

8 . A system for establishing a conversation session with a beneficiary and processing a digital file, comprising:

a processor, and

a non-transitory computer-readable memory storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

receive, from a computing device, a first digital file and a request to access an asset of a customer, the request indicating an identity of the customer and an occurrence of an event associated with the customer, and

the first digital file certifying the event;

based on receiving the request and the first digital file, establish, by the processor, a conversation session with a beneficiary of the customer via the computing device;

verify, via the conversation session, the identity indicated in the request matches an actual identity of the customer;

based on verifying the identity matches the actual identity, generate a second digital file corresponding to the request; and

transmit, to the computing device, information indicating an action required for processing the second digital file,

wherein receipt of the information by the computing device causes a display of the computing device to indicate the action.

9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

receive information identifying a user authorized to access the asset of the customer; and

send, based on the information, and to the computing device, an executable link to a computer application operable to connect to a service provider of the asset.

10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein:

the request to access the asset of the customer is generated through the computer application executing on the computing device, and

the computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

receive, from the computing device, an input indicating selection of the action, wherein the selection of the action allows the computer application to track a status of the digital file.

11 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

generate a profile of the customer, the profile identifying the asset of the customer and the actual identity of the customer; and

generate, using a machine learning model, an avatar of the customer based on the profile,

wherein the conversation session is established with the avatar of the customer.

12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

obtain, with an authorization of the customer and from a third-party platform, digital data associated with the customer; and

based at least in on the digital data, generate, using the machine learning model, a baseline personality of the avatar, the baseline personality being similar to the customer,

wherein the digital data includes at least one of voice recordings, images, videos, or answers to questions.

13 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the conversation session is a verbal conversation, and the information indicating the action required for processing the digital file is transmitted via the verbal conversation.

14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

determine, based on the occurrence of the event, a category to which the digital file corresponds, wherein the category includes at least one of life insurance, health insurance, home insurance, or auto insurance.

15 . A non-transitory computer-readable memory storing instructions for establishing a conversation session with a beneficiary and processing a digital file, that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:

receive, from a computing device, a first digital file and a request to access an asset of a customer, the request indicating an identity of the customer and an occurrence of an event associated with the customer, and

the first digital file certifying the event;

based on receiving the request and the first digital file, establish, by the processor, a conversation session with a beneficiary of the customer via the computing device;

verify, via the conversation session, the identity indicated in the request matches an actual identity of the customer;

based on verifying the identity matches the actual identity, generate a second digital file corresponding to the request; and

transmit, to the computing device, information indicating an action required for processing the second digital file,

wherein receipt of the information by the computing device causes a display of the computing device to indicate the action.

16 . The non-transitory computer-readable memory of claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

receive information identifying a user authorized to access the asset of the customer; and

send, based on the information, and to the computing device, an executable link to a computer application operable to connect to a service provider of the asset.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable memory of claim 16 , wherein:

the request to access the asset of the customer is generated through the computer application executing on the computing device, and

the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

receive, from the computing device, an input indicating selection of the action, wherein the selection of the action allows the computer application to track a status of the digital file.

18 . The non-transitory computer-readable memory of claim 15 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

generate a profile of the customer, the profile identifying the asset of the customer and the actual identity of the customer; and

generate, using a machine learning model, an avatar of the customer based on the profile,

wherein the conversation session is established with the avatar of the customer.

19 . The non-transitory computer-readable memory of claim 18 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

obtain, with an authorization of the customer and from a third-party platform, digital data associated with the customer; and
