MATERIALS AND METHODS FOR THE CONTROL OF NEMATODES
The invention provides materials and method for controlling pests, in particular, nematodes. The invention also provides compositions comprising biosurfactants as pesticides.

12 . A nematicidal composition for controlling nematodes comprising:
a mannosylerytrithol lipid (MEL) and
a Pseudozyma aphidis microorganism and/or
broth in which said Pseudozyma aphidis microorganism has been cultivated,
wherein the MEL is present at a concentration of 0.1 to 20 wt %.
13 . The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising a Starmerella microorganism and/or broth in which said Starmerella microorganism has been cultivated.
14 . The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising, a Pichia anomala ( Wickerhamomyces anomalus ) microorganism and/or broth in which said Pichia anomala ( Wickerhamomyces anomalus ) microorganism has been cultivated.
15 . The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising chemical compounds with nematicidal activity.

The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising buffering agents, adjuvants, surfactants emulsifying agents, plant nutrients, fillers, plasticizers, lubricants, glidants, colorants, pigments, bittering agents, buffering agents, solubility controlling agents, pH adjusting agents, preservatives, stabilizers and ultra-violet light resistant agents, stiffening agents, or hardening agents.
17 . The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising nematode attracting substances.
18 . A nematicidal composition for controlling nematodes the nematicidal composition prepared by cultivating a Pseudozyma aphidis microorganism wherein the Pseudozyma aphidis microorganism produces a mannosylerythritol lipid (MEL) biosurfactant; cultivating a Starmerella bombicola microorganism wherein the Starmerella bombicola microorganism produces a sophorolipid (SLP) biosurfactant; and mixing the cultivated Pseudozyma aphidis and MEL with the cultivated Starmerella bombicola and SLP, wherein said nematicidal composition comprises the Pseudozyma aphidis microorganism, the MEL, a broth in which the Pseudozyma aphidis microorganism was cultivated, as well as the Starmerella bombicola microorganism, the SLP, and a broth in which the Starmerella bombicola microorganism was cultivated.
19 . The nematicidal composition of claim 7 , further comprising chemical compounds with nematicidal activity.

The nematicidal composition of claim 7 , further comprising buffering agents, adjuvants, surfactants emulsifying agents, plant nutrients, fillers, plasticizers, lubricants, glidants, colorants, pigments, bittering agents, buffering agents, solubility controlling agents, pH adjusting agents, preservatives, stabilizers and ultra-violet light resistant agents, stiffening agents, or hardening agents.
21 . The nematicidal composition of claim 7 , further comprising nematode attracting substances.
22 . A nematicidal composition for controlling nematodes comprising a sophorolipid (SLP) produced by Starmerella bombicola and a mannosylerytrithol lipid (MEL), produced by Pseudozyma aphidis , wherein the SLP is in a broth in which the Starmerella bombicola was cultivated and the MEL is in a broth in which the Pseudozyma aphidis was cultivated.
23 . The nematicidal composition of claim 11 , further comprising broth in which Wickerhamomyces anomalus was cultivated.
24 . The nematicidal composition of claim 11 , further comprising, wherein composition further comprises cell mass of the Starmerella bombicola and Pseudozyma aphidis.
25 . The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising chemical compounds with nematicidal activity.

The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising buffering agents, adjuvants, surfactants emulsifying agents, plant nutrients, fillers, plasticizers, lubricants, glidants, colorants, pigments, bittering agents, buffering agents, solubility controlling agents, pH adjusting agents, preservatives, stabilizers and ultra-violet light resistant agents, stiffening agents, or hardening agents.
27 . The nematicidal composition of claim 1 , further comprising nematode attracting substances.
