PHARMACEUTICAL FILM STORAGE AND DISPENSER DEVICE
A storage and dispensing device for a pharmaceutical film product is described. The device can be designed to be available to a potential user at any time.
1 . A medication dispenser device comprising:
a container configured to store and dispense a sealed pouch containing a pharmaceutical film, the container including a surface;
a thermal barrier on the surface of the container.
2 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the surface includes an adhesive component that adheres to a communication or storage device, the thermal barrier being between the container and the communication or storage device.
3 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the surface includes a magnetic component that secures to a communication or storage device, the thermal barrier being between the container and the communication or storage device.
4 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the surface includes an adhesive component that adheres to a case of a communication or storage device, the thermal barrier being between the container and the communication or storage device.
5 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the surface includes a magnetic component that secures to a case of a communication or storage device, the thermal barrier being between the container and the communication or storage device.
6 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the surface is molded into a case for a communication or storage device, the thermal barrier being between the container and the communication or storage device.
7 . The medication dispenser device of any one of claims 1-6 , wherein the container is composed of a resilient material.
8 . The medication dispenser device of claim 7 , wherein the resilient material includes a polymer.
9 . The medication dispenser device of claim 7 , wherein the polymer includes a silicone, a polyurethane, a polyolefin, or a rubber material.
10 . The medication dispenser device of any one of claims 1-9 , wherein the thermal barrier includes a thermally insulating material that protects the pharmaceutical film stored in the container from heat at the surface.
11 . The medication dispenser device of claim 10 , wherein the thermally insulating material has a thermal conductivity of less than 1.00 Wm −1 K −1 .
12 . The medication dispenser device of claim 10 , wherein the thermally insulating material has a thermal conductivity of less than 0.50 Wm −1 K −1 .
13 . The medication dispenser device of claim 10 , wherein the thermally insulating material has a thermal conductivity of less than 0.20 Wm −1 K −1 .
14 . The medication dispenser device of claim 10 , wherein the thermally insulating material has a thermal conductivity of less than 0.10 Wm −1 K −1 .
15 . The medication dispenser device of claim 10 , wherein the thermally insulating material has a thermal conductivity of less than 0.05 Wm −1 K −1 .
16 . The medication dispenser device of claim 10 , wherein the thermally insulating material is a foam.
17 . The medication dispenser device of claim 16 , wherein the foam is a glass, an organic polymer, or an aerogel.
18 . The medication dispenser device of claim 17 , wherein the organic polymer is a polyurethane, a polystryrene, a polyethylene, or a polypropylene.
19 . The medication dispenser device of claim 17 , wherein the aerogel is a silica aerogel.
20 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the container includes a first compartment having dimensions to store the sealed pouch of the film medication, the first compartment being separated from the surface by the thermal barrier.
22 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the compartment includes a pouch opener.
23 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the container includes a first compartment and a second compartment, each of the first compartment and the second compartment having dimensions to store the sealed pouch of the film medication, the first compartment and the second compartment each being separated from the surface by the thermal barrier.
24 . The medication dispenser device of claim 23 , wherein each of the first compartment and the second compartment includes a pouch opener.
25 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the container includes one or more of a moisture barrier, a light barrier, or oxygen barrier.
26 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the medication dispenser device includes one or more visual such as color or fluorescence, tactile, geometry or overall size characteristics for easy identification in a varied number of environmental conditions.
27 . The medication dispenser device of claim 1 , wherein the medication dispenser device includes a temperature sensor.
