Abstract

The present application relates to compositions comprising (E)-1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoro-1-propene (i.e., R-1225ye(E) or HFO-1225ye(E)), HFO-1234yf, R-32, and, one or more additional components selected from R-125 and CO 2 , that are useful in refrigeration, air conditioning, or heat pump systems. Methods of replacing R-22, R-407C, or R-404A in refrigeration, air conditioning, or heat pump systems are also provided.

3 . A composition comprising about 28 to about 40 weight percent (E)-1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoro-1-propene (HFO-1225ve(E)), about 27 to about 39 weight percent HFO-1234yf, about 14 to about 30 weight percent R-32, and about 7 to about 15 weight percent R-125, based upon a weight of the composition.

4 - 21 . (canceled)

22 . A process for producing cooling, comprising condensing the composition of claim 3 and thereafter evaporating said composition in the vicinity of a body to be cooled.

23 . A process for producing heating, comprising evaporating the composition of claim 3 and thereafter condensing said composition in the vicinity of a body to be heated.

24 . A method of replacing R-22, R-407C, or R-404A in a refrigeration, air conditioning, or heat pump system, comprising providing the composition of claim 3 as replacement for said R-22, R-407C, or R-404A.

25 . An air conditioning system, heat pump system, or refrigeration system comprising the composition of claim 3 .

26 - 41 . (canceled)
