Abstract

Aspects of electronic illuminator systems and methods are disclosed herein, including subsystems, methods of use, and computer-readable media thereof. In one aspect, a system includes a fiber detection assembly. The system further includes a cap color detection assembly. The system further includes a printed circuit board connected to the fiber detection assembly and the cap color detection assembly. The system is configured to illuminate a cable engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the cable upon authenticating the cable.

Claims (32)

1 . A system comprising:

a fiber detection assembly;

a cap color detection assembly; and

a printed circuit board connected to the fiber detection assembly and the cap color detection assembly,

wherein the system is configured to illuminate a line engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the line upon authenticating the line.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a magnetic flux density determined by the fiber detection assembly, and the effect comprises a color corresponding to the magnetic flux density.

3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the color is detected by the cap color detection assembly from a cap of the line.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a magnetic flux density determined by the fiber detection assembly, and the effect comprises a pattern corresponding to the magnetic flux density.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a cap color determined by the cap color detection assembly, and the effect comprises a color corresponding to the cap color.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a cap color determined by the cap color detection assembly, and the effect comprises a pattern corresponding to the cap color.

7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the system further comprises:

a receiving unit, wherein the line is inserted inside the system via the receiving unit.

8 . A method comprising:

detecting a line engaged with a system using a fiber detection assembly or a cap color detection assembly of the system,

authenticating the line using the fiber detection assembly or the cap color detection assembly; and

upon authenticating the line, illuminating the line engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the line.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a magnetic flux density determined by the fiber detection assembly, and the effect comprises a color corresponding to the magnetic flux density.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the color is detected by the cap color detection assembly from a cap of the line.

11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a magnetic flux density determined by the fiber detection assembly, and the effect comprises a pattern corresponding to the magnetic flux density.

12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a cap color determined by the cap color detection assembly, and the effect comprises a color corresponding to the cap color.

13 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a cap color determined by the cap color detection assembly, and the effect comprises a pattern corresponding to the cap color.

14 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising:

inserting the line inside the system via a receiving unit of the system.

15 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by at least one processor, are configured for:

detecting a line engaged with a system using a fiber detection assembly or a cap color detection assembly of the system,

authenticating the line using the fiber detection assembly or the cap color detection assembly; and

upon authenticating the line, illuminating the line engaged with the system with an effect corresponding to the line.

16 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a magnetic flux density determined by the fiber detection assembly, and the effect comprises a color corresponding to the magnetic flux density.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the color is detected by the cap color detection assembly from a cap of the line.

18 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a magnetic flux density determined by the fiber detection assembly, and the effect comprises a pattern corresponding to the magnetic flux density.

19 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a cap color determined by the cap color detection assembly, and the effect comprises a color corresponding to the cap color.

20 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the system authenticates the line based on a cap color determined by the cap color detection assembly, and the effect comprises a pattern corresponding to the cap color.
