Abstract

A system for tracking guests and collecting feedback for an entertainment attraction. The system may determine a guest's position and may interact with the guest via user interface provided for example via application on mobile device or kiosk, in order to assess guest satisfaction before, during and after attendance at an entertainment attraction or amusement park. The system may allow for storing the guest feedback and may determine whether to issue a reward to the guest based upon the feedback provided. The system may be positioned proximate to a queue line for an entertainment attraction, and may capture an image of a guest to determine the perceived mood of the guest and thereby determine whether to issue a reward to the guest based upon the perceived mood of the guest. Guest interfaces may allow communication or other data presented between or to guests.

Claims (52)

1 . A method for tracking a guest, comprising:

positioning a first sensor in range of a first location in an amusement park;

positioning a second sensor in range of a second location in an amusement park;

storing, at a storage device, tracking data corresponding to the guest being sensed at the amusement park by the first sensor and the second sensor;

collecting, via at least one interactive interface, a first satisfaction feedback from the guest before the guest arrives at the amusement park, a second satisfaction feedback from the guest while the guest is at the amusement park, or a third satisfaction feedback from the guest after the guest has left the amusement park; and

storing, at a server, the first satisfaction feedback, the second satisfaction feedback, or the third satisfaction feedback;

determining, using one or more processors in communication with the server, whether to issue a reward to the guest based upon the first satisfaction feedback, the second satisfaction feedback, or the third satisfaction feedback, wherein the reward comprises dynamic alteration of one or more features of the entertainment attraction; and

storing, at the storage device, a user account associated with the guest to associate the reward to the user account.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

providing a touch screen for interaction by the guest.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

offering, via the at least one interactive interface, an offer to purchase to the guest.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one interactive interface comprises a first interactive interface in communication with a second interactive interface.

5 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising:

receiving, at the first interactive interface, a message from the guest; and

transmitting, from the first interactive interface to the second interactive interface, the message.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first sensor is a camera.

7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising:

capturing, using the first sensor, an image of the guest; and

analyzing, using the first sensor, the image of the guest to determine a perceived mood of the guest.

8 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising:

generating a report corresponding to the perceived mood of the guest.

9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first sensor is a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader.

10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

associating the reward from a user account of the guest to a user account of another guest.

11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the reward is based upon the one or more features of the entertainment attraction.

12 . A method for tracking a guest, comprising:

collecting, via a first interactive interface, a first satisfaction feedback from the guest proximate to a queue line at an entertainment attraction;

capturing, using an image sensor, an image of the guest while the guest experiences the entertainment attraction;

analyzing, using one or more processors, the image of the guest to determine a perceived mood of the guest;

collecting, via a second interactive interface, a second satisfaction feedback from the guest proximate to an exit area of the entertainment attraction;

storing, at a server, the first satisfaction feedback and the second satisfaction feedback; and

determining, using one or more processors, whether to issue a reward to the guest based upon the first satisfaction feedback, the second satisfaction feedback, and the perceived mood of the guest, wherein the reward comprises dynamic alteration of one or more features of the entertainment attraction.

13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:

generating, using the one or more processors, a report corresponding to the perceived mood of the guest.

14 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:

associating, using the one or more processors, the reward from a user account of the guest to a user account of another guest.

15 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the first interactive interface and the second interactive interface comprise a touchscreen.

16 . A method for tracking a guest, comprising:

collecting, via a first interactive interface, a first satisfaction feedback from the guest proximate to a queue line at an entertainment attraction;

collecting, via a second interactive interface, a second satisfaction feedback from the guest while the guest is experiencing the entertainment attraction;

collecting, via a third interactive interface, a third satisfaction feedback from the guest proximate to an exit area of the entertainment attraction;

storing, at a server, the first satisfaction feedback, the second satisfaction feedback, and the third satisfaction feedback; and

determining, using one or more processors in communication with the server, whether to issue a reward to the guest based upon the first satisfaction feedback, the second satisfaction feedback, and the third satisfaction feedback, wherein the reward comprises dynamic alteration of one or more features of the entertainment attraction.

17 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:

offering, via the first interactive interface, the second interactive interface, or the third interactive interface, an offer to purchase to the guest.

18 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:

receiving, at the first interactive interface, a message from the guest; and

transmitting, from the first interactive interface to the third interactive interface, the message.

19 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:

associating, using the one or more processors, the reward from a user account of the guest to a user account of another guest.

20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the first interactive interface, the second interactive interface, and the third interactive interface comprise a touchscreen.
