IMAGE CAPTURING UNIT
A vehicular camera includes a case, a heat spreader, a heat-dissipation plate, and a heat-dissipation sheet. The case has a side wall including an inner surface and an outer surface. The heat spreader is disposed in the case and is configured to spread generated heat to the case. The heat-dissipation plate is formed from metal and is disposed between the heat spreader and the case. The heat-dissipation sheet is disposed between the heat spreader and the heat-dissipation plate. The heat-dissipation sheet has elasticity, and is configured to transmit the heat of the heat spreader to the heat-dissipation plate. At least a portion of the heat spreader is in contact with the heat-dissipation sheet. At least a portion of the heat-dissipation sheet is in contact with the heat-dissipation plate. At least a portion of the heat-dissipation plate is in contact with the inner surface of the side wall of the case.
1 . A vehicular camera comprising:
a case having a side wall that includes an inner surface and an outer surface opposite to the inner surface;
a heat spreader disposed in the case and configured to spread generated heat to the case;
at least one heat-dissipation plate formed from metal and disposed between the heat spreader and the case; and
at least one heat-dissipation sheet disposed between the heat spreader and the at least one heat-dissipation plate, the at least one sheet having elasticity, and configured to transmit the heat of the heat spreader to the at least one heat-dissipation plate, wherein
at least a portion of the heat spreader is in contact with the at least one heat-dissipation sheet,
at least a portion of the at least one heat-dissipation sheet is in contact with the at least one heat-dissipation plate, and
at least a portion of the at least one heat-dissipation plate is in contact with the inner surface of the side wall of the case.
2 . The vehicular camera according to claim 1 , wherein
the case is formed from metal,
the heat spreader is formed from metal, and
the at least one heat-dissipation sheet is formed from resin.
3 . The vehicular camera according to claim 2 , wherein
the case is formed from aluminum,
the heat spreader is formed from aluminum, and
the at least one heat-dissipation plate is formed from aluminum.
4 . The vehicular camera according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a lens unit; and
at least one circuit board disposed in the case.
5 . The vehicular camera according to claim 4 , wherein
the at least one circuit board having a first side, a second side opposite to the first side, and an end side connecting the first side and the second side, and
the heat spreader is disposed between the side wall of the case and the end side of the at least one circuit board.
6 . The vehicular camera according to claim 5 , further comprising:
a resin member disposed in the case and between the end side of the at least one circuit board and the heat spreader, wherein
the resin member is in contact with the end side of the at least one circuit board and the heat spreader.
7 . A vehicular camera comprising:
a case having a side wall that includes an inner surface and an outer surface opposite to the inner surface;
a first metal plate disposed in the case;
a second metal plate disposed in the case and between the side wall of the case and the first metal plate; and
at least one sheet disposed in the case and between the first metal plate and the second metal plate, the at least one sheet having elasticity, wherein
at least a portion of the first metal plate is in contact with the at least one sheet,
at least a portion of the at least one sheet is in contact with the second metal plate, and
at least a portion of the second metal plate is in contact with the inner surface of the side wall of the case.
8 . The vehicular camera according to claim 7 , wherein
the case is formed from aluminum,
the first metal plate is formed from aluminum,
the second metal plate is formed from aluminum, and
the at least one sheet is formed from resin.
9 . The vehicular camera according to claim 7 , further comprising:
a lens unit; and
at least one circuit board disposed in the case.
10 . The vehicular camera according to claim 9 , wherein
the at least one circuit board having a first side, a second side opposite to the first side, and an end side connecting the first side and the second side, and
the first metal plate is disposed between the side wall of the case and the end side of the at least one circuit board.
11 . The vehicular camera according to claim 10 , further comprising:
a resin member disposed in the case and between the end side of the at least one circuit board and the first metal plate, wherein
the resin member is in contact with the end side of the at least one circuit board and the first metal plate.
12 . A vehicular camera comprising:
a case having a side wall that includes an inner surface and an outer surface opposite to the inner surface;
at least one circuit board disposed in the case;
a first metal plate disposed in the case and between the side wall of the case and the at least one circuit board;
a second metal plate disposed in the case and between the side wall of the case and the first metal plate; and
at least one sheet disposed in the case and between the first metal plate and the second metal plate, the at least one sheet having elasticity, wherein
at least a portion of the first metal plate is in contact with the at least one sheet,
at least a portion of the at least one sheet is in contact with the second metal plate, and
at least a portion of the second metal plate is in contact with the inner surface of the side wall of the case.
13 . The vehicular camera according to claim 12 , wherein
the case is formed from aluminum,
the first metal plate is formed from aluminum,
the second metal plate is formed from aluminum, and
the at least one sheet is formed from resin.
14 . The vehicular camera according to claim 12 , wherein
the at least one circuit board having a first side, a second side opposite to the first side, and an end side connecting the first side and the second side, and
the first metal plate is disposed between the side wall of the case and the end side of the at least one circuit board.
15 . The vehicular camera according to claim 14 , further comprising:
a resin member disposed in the case and between the end side of the at least one circuit board and the first metal plate, wherein
the resin member is in contact with the end side of the at least one circuit board and the first metal plate.
