The present disclosure provides prodrug compounds of MDMA, MDA, and derivatives thereof having an improved pharmacokinetic profile suitable for the treatment of various neurological diseases.

7 . A method of treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the compound of claim 2 .
8 . A method of treating an eating disorder in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the compound of claim 2 .
9 . A method of treating depression in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the compound of claim 2 .
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the depression is major depressive disorder (MDD) or treatment-resistant depression (TRD).
11 . A method of treating an anxiety disorder in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a compound of claim 2 .
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the anxiety disorder is generalized anxiety disorder.
13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the anxiety disorder is social anxiety disorder.
14 . A method of treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the compound of claim 3 .
15 . A method of treating an eating disorder in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the compound of claim 3 .
16 . A method of treating depression in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the compound of claim 3 .
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the depression is major depressive disorder (MDD) or treatment-resistant depression (TRD).
18 . A method of treating an anxiety disorder in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject the compound of claim 3 .
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the anxiety disorder is generalized anxiety disorder.
20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the anxiety disorder is social anxiety disorder.
