Display device and flexible display device
View Patent ↗Provided is a display device including: a base material; a display region over the base material; a wiring over the base material, the wiring extending from the display region to an outside of the display region; and a pair of metal films over the base material, where the wiring is located between the pair of metal films in a plane view. The display region may be positioned between the pair of metal films, and the wiring and the pair of metal films may exist in the same layer.
1. A display device comprising:
a base material;
a display region over the base material;
a wiring over the base material, the wiring extending from the display region to an outside of the display region; and
a pair of metal films over the base material,
wherein an edge of the base material is located outside of the display region,
the pair of metal films extends to the edge, and
the wiring is located between the pair of metal films in a plane view.
2. The display device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the display region is located between the pair of metal films.
3. The display device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the wiring and the pair of metal films are sandwiched between two insulating films.
4. The display device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the wiring and the pair of metal films are located at different layers from each other.
5. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein:
the display region comprises a pixel;
the pixel includes:
a transistor having a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode; and
a light-emitting element having a first electrode, a second electrode over the first electrode, and an organic layer sandwiched between the first electrode and the second electrode;
the wiring, the source electrode, and the drain electrode are located at a first layer; and
the pair of metal films and the gate electrode are located at a second layer.
6. The display device according to claim 5 , further comprising:
a power source line electrically connected to the second electrode and located between the pair of metal films; and
an auxiliary electrode electrically connected to the power source line,
wherein the pair of metal films and the auxiliary electrode are located at the second layer.
7. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein:
the display region comprises a pixel;
the pixel comprises a pair of electrodes forming a capacitor; and
the pair of metal films and one of the pair of electrodes are located at a same layer.
8. The display device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the pair of metal films has a projected portion protruding in a direction of the wiring.
9. The display device according to claim 8 ,
wherein the projected portion overlaps with the wiring in a plane view.
10. The display device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the pair of metal films is electrically floated.
11. The display device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the base material has flexibility.
