Abstract

A system for facilitating personal information exchange includes a first computer peripheral device comprising a first near field communication system. A second computer peripheral device includes a second near field communication system. The first near field communication system is communicatively coupled to the second near field communication system. A web server is communicatively coupled to the first computer peripheral device and the second computer peripheral device. The web server is configured to receive personal information from the first computer peripheral device and the second computer peripheral device into a database. The near field communication between the first computer peripheral device and the second computer peripheral device results in sharing the information in the database.

3. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 2 , wherein the set of instructions for searching for the organization comprises a set of instructions for performing a search query based on the set of organization search criteria aimed at identifying the particular organization in the information exchanging system.

4. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the information exchanging program further comprises a set of instructions for determining whether acceptance is required from the particular organization to add the contact profile to the directory of contacts associated with the particular organization.

5. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 4 , wherein the information exchanging program further comprises a set of instructions for sending a request to add the contact profile to the directory of contacts associated with the particular organization when acceptance is required.

6. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the information exchanging program further comprises a set of instructions for adding a contact profile associated with the particular organization to a directory of contact profiles of the individual.

7. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the set of instructions for sending a notification further comprises a set of instructions for sending a notification to the particular organization that the contact profile was added to the directory of contacts associated with the particular organization.

8. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the set of instructions for sending a notification further comprises a set of instructions for sending a notification, by the information exchanging system, to the individual that the contact profile associated with the particular organization was added to the directory of contact profiles of the individual.

9. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 6 , wherein the set of instructions for sending a notification further comprises a set of instructions for sending a notification, by the information exchanging system, to the particular organization that the contact profile associated with the particular organization was added to the directory of contact profiles of the individual.
