Abstract

A system, method, and device for operations of an electrically motorized vehicle. The vehicle can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. One system includes a server in communication with the device of each of a plurality of electrically motorized wheels, the server operable to track a position of each of the electrically motorized wheels and communicate the position thereof to a transportation network.

Claims (49)

1. A system, comprising:

a motorized human-powered vehicle;

a server in communication with the motorized human-powered vehicle or a mobile device associated with a user of the motorized human-powered vehicle;

a sensor system on the motorized human-powered vehicle to collect data indicative of a state of the motorized human-powered vehicle; and

a display module operable to display collected data from the sensor system as an overlay on a map,

wherein the collected data from the sensor system comprises a hazard, an obstacle, or a system fault, and

wherein the collected data from the sensor system provides a spatial indication and a temporal indication of the state of the motorized human-powered vehicle.

2. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the display module is implemented on the motorized human-powered vehicle.

3. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the display module is implemented on the mobile device.

4. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the overlay of the collected data from the sensor system is provided in real time.

5. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the collected data displayed as the overlay on the map provides historical data of past hazards, obstacles, or system faults.

6. The system as recited in claim 1 ,

wherein the collected data further comprises environmental data,

wherein the environmental data is displayed as the overlay on the map, and wherein the server or the mobile device provides a prediction of future environmental conditions, based in part on the collected data from the sensor system.

7. The system as recited in claim 6 , wherein the overlay of environmental conditions includes a temperature, a humidity, an air quality metric, a wind speed or a wind direction.

8. The system as recited in claim 6 , wherein the overlay of environmental conditions includes a temperature.

9. The system as recited in claim 6 , wherein the overlay of environmental conditions includes a traffic pattern.

10. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the spatial indication includes a location.

11. The system as recited in claim 6 , wherein the temporal indication includes the collected data from the sensor system associated with an environment through which the motorized human-powered vehicle travels.

12. The system as recited in claim 11 , wherein the temporal indication includes temperature, humidity, elevation, atmospheric data or signal strength.

13. The system as recited in claim 1 , wherein the temporal indication includes collected data from a sensor associated with the motorized human-powered vehicle.

14. A method to display data, comprising:

receiving, from sensors related to a motorized human-powered vehicle or a user of the motorized human-powered vehicle, data relating to a hazard indicator, an obstacle, or a system fault,

displaying the received data as an overlay on a map; and

displaying a subset of the received data as an overlay on a map with the data integrated with a location on the map based on a spatial indication provided with said data.

15. The method as recited in claim 14 , further comprising implementing the display on the motorized human-powered vehicle.

16. The method as recited in claim 14 , wherein the data displayed as the overlay on the map provides historical data of past hazards, obstacles, or system faults.

17. The method as recited in claim 14 , wherein the data further comprises environmental data, and wherein the environmental data is displayed as the overlay on the map and provides a prediction of future environmental conditions.

18. The method as recited in 17 , wherein the overlay of environmental conditions includes a traffic pattern.

19. The method as recited in claim 14 , further comprising implementing the display on a mobile device.

20. The method as recited in claim 14 , wherein the data further comprises data related to user physical condition that is received from the motorized human-powered vehicle or a sensor on the user.

21. A system comprising:

a motorized human-powered vehicle;

a server in communication with the motorized human-powered vehicle or a mobile device associated with a user of the motorized human-powered vehicle;

the collected data includes (A) data from the sensor system of an indication of the user's physical effort exerted to propel the motorized human-powered vehicle, and (B)) sensor data related to (i) user inputs to the motorized human-powered vehicle, (ii) user physical condition, or (iii) an environment through which the motorized human-powered vehicle travels,

wherein the sensor data related to (i) user inputs to the motorized human-powered vehicle, (ii) operation of the motorized human-powered vehicle, and (iii) the environment through which the motorized human-powered vehicle travels is received from the motorized human-powered vehicle,

wherein the collected data provides a spatial indication and a temporal indication of the operations of the motorized human-powered vehicle,

wherein the collected data related to operation of the motorized human-powered vehicle are integrated with a location on the map based on the spatial and temporal indications provided, and wherein the data integrated with the location on the map is displayed as a bar graph.

22. A method to display data, comprising: receiving, from sensors related to a motorized human-powered vehicle or a user of the motorized human-powered vehicle, an indication of the user's physical effort that propels the motorized human-powered vehicle, data related to operation of the motorized human-powered vehicle and user inputs to the motorized human-powered vehicle, user physical condition, or an environment through which the motorized human-powered vehicle travels, wherein data related to user inputs to the motorized human-powered vehicle, and the environment through which the motorized human-powered vehicle travels provide a spatial indication and a temporal indication and are received from the motorized human-powered vehicle;

displaying the data as an overlay on a map providing an overview of environmental conditions via a display; and

displaying the data related to operation of the motorized human-powered vehicle as an overlay on the map integrated with a location on the map based on the spatial indications provided with said data, wherein the data integrated with the location on the map is displayed as a bar graph.
