Abstract

Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed to generate media exposure maps of media environments. An example apparatus includes memory and processor circuitry to execute instructions to at least: group first locations into a first cluster and second locations into a second cluster, ones of the first locations and the second locations based on at least one of corresponding angle of arrival measurements or corresponding angle of departure measurements, determine a first duration corresponding to the first cluster and a second duration corresponding to the second cluster based on timestamps of the first locations and the second locations, and generate a map based on at least one of the first cluster or the second cluster in response to one of the first duration or the second duration meeting a threshold duration and corresponding to a monitored data, the map to represent an area of media exposure in a media presentation environment.

8. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause one or more processors to at least:

group a first plurality of locations into a first cluster and a second plurality of locations into a second cluster, respective ones of the first plurality of locations and respective ones of the second plurality of locations based on at least one of corresponding angle of arrival measurements or corresponding angle of departure measurements;

determine a first duration corresponding to the first cluster and a second duration corresponding to the second cluster based on timestamps of the respective ones of the first plurality of locations and the respective ones of the second plurality of locations; and

generate a map based on at least one of the first cluster or the second cluster in response to at least one of the first duration or the second duration meeting a threshold duration and corresponding to a monitored data, the map to represent an area of media exposure in a media presentation environment.

9. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the threshold duration is representative of a minimum amount of time to associate locations with media exposure.

10. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the one or more processors to generate the map based on the first cluster and the second cluster in response to the first duration and the second duration meeting the threshold duration and having respective timestamps within a threshold amount of time of the monitored data.

11. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the one or more processors to generate the map based on the first cluster but not the second cluster in response to the first duration meeting the threshold duration and having a timestamp within a threshold amount of time of the monitored data and the second duration not meeting the threshold duration and not having a timestamp within the threshold amount of time of the monitored data.

12. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the one or more processors to label the first cluster and the second cluster as training data for at least one machine learning model, the at least one machine learning model to predict media exposure behavior of a panelist based on the first cluster and the second cluster.

13. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the one or more processors to execute instructions to generate at least one machine learning to predict a probability that an angle of arrival measurement or an angle of departure measurement corresponding to the first cluster is indicative of a location at which a panelist is exposed to media.

14. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the one or more processors to obtain the plurality of first locations from a first meter and the second plurality of locations from a second meter, the first meter assigned to the media presentation environment and the second meter assigned to a panelist.
