Abstract

Providing a condition-specific data collection includes displaying, via a user interface of a user device and based on a computing application being accessed, one or more selectable parameters, and receiving, based on a user of the user device providing one or more user inputs, a selection of the one or more selectable parameters, the selection indicating a physical location about which a condition-specific data collection sequence is to be provided. Further, the condition-specific data collection sequence associated with the physical location is provided, where the condition-specific data collection sequence comprises a series of user interface input controls that are displayed, via the user interface, to facilitate obtaining condition-specific data related to a condition at a physical location.

Claims (34)

1. A computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence, the computing system comprising:

at least one processor;

a communication interface communicatively coupled to the at least one processor; and

a memory device storing executable code that, when executed, causes the at least one processor to:

display, via a user interface of a user device and based on a computing application being accessed, one or more selectable parameters;

receive, based on a user of the user device providing one or more user inputs, a selection of the one or more selectable parameters, the selection indicating a physical location about which a condition-specific data collection sequence is to be provided; and

provide, via the user interface of the user device, the condition-specific data collection sequence associated with the physical location, wherein the condition-specific data collection sequence comprises a series of user interface input controls that are displayed, via the user interface, to facilitate obtaining condition-specific data related to a condition at a physical location.

2. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the condition-specific data includes digital image data, and wherein the obtaining the condition-specific data further comprises collecting the digital image data via an image capturing input of the user device of the condition at the physical location, and wherein the digital image data includes one or more digital images.

3. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 2 , wherein the image capturing input of the user device comprises an image sensor that receives photons and converts the received photons into an electrical signal.

4. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 2 , wherein the data collection sequence further facilitates storing the digital image data to a storage device accessible via the user device.

5. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the computing application comprises a risk assessment program, and wherein the one or more user inputs further include an identification of the user.

6. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the condition-specific data related to the condition at the physical location include an assessment of one or more potential risks at the physical location.

7. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 6 , wherein the physical location comprises a facility, wherein the one or more potential risks include physical hazards.

8. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the condition at the physical location comprises a potentially hazardous condition at the physical location.

9. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the executable code that, when executed, further causes the at least one processor to:

receive the condition-specific data in response to one or more additional user inputs, the condition-specific data including information related to the condition at the physical location; and

perform data analytics on the condition-specific data to quantify magnitude of risk of the condition.

10. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the condition-specific data includes audio data collected via the user device, and wherein the obtaining the condition-specific data comprises using a speech signal processing system to perform audio transduction to generate the audio data from a speech signal and facilitate performing natural language processing thereon, wherein the natural language processing generates a textual record of the condition at the physical location.

11. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 10 , wherein the audio transduction is performed via an audio transducer that converts speech into an electrical signal.

12. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the one or more selectable parameters are displayed based on the user initiating a risk assessment via computing application, and wherein the risk assessment is performed as part of a risk management system implementation that includes shift-based risk assessments of a site.

13. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the condition-specific data collection sequence displays a prompt asking the user to classify the condition.

14. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the condition-specific data collection sequence prompts the user to survey one or more individuals at the location about the condition.

15. The computing system for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence of claim 1 , wherein the executable code that, when executed, further causes the at least one processor to generate a report from the condition-specific data, the report providing analysis of the condition at the physical location.

16. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computer device to:

transmit, to a user device across a network, one or more digital communications, the transmitting facilitating displaying, via a user interface of the user device, the one or more digital communications;

receive, based on a user of the user device providing one or more user inputs in response to the one or more digital communications, response data indicating a physical location about which a condition-specific data collection sequence is to be provided; and

provide, via the user interface of the user device, the condition-specific data collection sequence associated with the physical location, wherein the condition-specific data collection sequence comprises a series of user interface input controls to facilitate obtaining condition-specific data related to a condition at a physical location.

17. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the one or more digital communications comprise a risk assessment program, and wherein the response data includes an identification of the user.

18. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the condition at the physical location comprises a potentially hazardous condition at the physical location.

19. A computer-implemented method for providing a condition-specific data collection sequence, the method comprising:

transmitting, to a user device across a network, one or more digital communications, the transmitting facilitating displaying, via a user interface of the user device, the one or more digital communications;

receiving, based on a user of the user device providing one or more user inputs in response to the one or more digital communications, response data indicating a physical location about which a condition-specific data collection sequence is to be provided; and
