Abstract

A cable management assembly that enables cable connectivity, including management, anti-theft, and damage reduction, having: (a) a housing, wherein the housing is adapted for securement to a substrate; and (b) a cover member, wherein the cover member is adapted for securement to the housing.

Claims (10)

1. A cable management assembly, comprising:

a housing defining an internal cavity, the housing including:

a bottom wall;

sidewalls extending upwardly from the bottom wall;

a top wall having a plurality of fastener-receiving apertures;

a first aperture in the bottom wall sized to accommodate a cable connector;

a second aperture in one of the sidewalls sized to accommodate a cable while preventing passage of a cable connector;

a plurality of spaced posts extending upwardly from the bottom wall within the cavity, wherein the posts are configured to route cables in a predetermined path within the cavity;

a cover member removably securable to the housing via fasteners received in the fastener-receiving apertures of the top wall; and

wherein the posts and cavity are configured to maintain a minimum bend radius of cables routed through the cavity.
