View Patent ↗The present invention is directed to a multifunctional organo-silicone compound and the use of the that compound in personal care and other applications. These compounds by virtue of their unique structure provide outstanding micro emulsions and provide outstanding skin feel.
1. A silicone polymer conform to the following structure:
wherein:
a is an integer ranging from 0 to 200;
b is an integer ranging from 1 to 20;
R is a mixture of:
—(CH 2 ) n —CH 3 ;
and
—(CH 2 ) 3 —O—(CH 2 CH 2 O) x —(CH 2 CH(CH 3 )—O) y H
n is an integer ranging from 7 to 42;
x is an integer ranging from 0 to 20;
y is an integer ranging from 0 to 20.
2. A silicone polymer of claim 1 wherein n is 15.
3. A silicone polymer of claim 1 wherein n is 17.
4. A silicone polymer of claim 1 wherein x ranges from 1 to 20.
5. A silicone polymer of claim 1 wherein n ranges from 5 to 15.
6. A silicone polymer of claim 1 wherein a is zero.
7. A silicone polymer of claim 1 wherein a=b.
8. A silicone polymer of claim 1 wherein a is 0 and b is 1.
9. A silicone polymer prepared by the reaction of a silanic hydrogen containing silicone polymer conforming to the following structure:
wherein:
a is an integer ranging from 0 to 200;
b is an integer ranging from 1 to 20;
and a mixture of:
an alpha olefinic containing polymer selected from the group consisting of:
CH 2 ═CH—(CH 2 ) n-2 —CH 3 ;
CH 2 ═CH—CH 2 —O—(CH 2 CH 2 O) x —(CH 2 CH(CH 3 )—O) y H
wherein;
n is an integer ranging from 7 to 42;
x is an integer ranging from 0 to 20;
y is an integer ranging from 0 to 20.
10. A silicone polymer of claim 9 wherein n is 15.
11. A silicone polymer of claim 9 wherein n is 17.
12. A silicone polymer of claim 9 wherein x ranges from 1 to 20.
13. A silicone polymer of claim 9 wherein n ranges from 5 to 15.
14. A silicone polymer of claim 9 wherein a is zero.
15. A silicone polymer of claim 9 wherein a=b.
16. A silicone polymer of claim 9 wherein a is 0, and b is 1.
