13. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one monitoring, treatment or therapy device comprises at least one of a heart rate monitor, temperature sensor, blood pressure monitor, EKG monitor, blood oxygen sensor, capnograph, ventilator, IV pump, scale, chest drainage monitor, and hospital bed.

14. The method of claim 1 , comprising automatically generating an alarm by the at least one monitoring, treatment or therapy device in response to the triggering condition.

15. The method of claim 1 , comprising routing a call to a caregiver at the caregiver's location in response to the triggering condition.

16. The method of claim 1 , comprising monitoring the status of the at least one monitoring, treatment or therapy device.

17. The method of claim 1 , comprising determining whether a person is at the patient location and automatically silencing an alarm if the person is present at the patient location.

18. The method of claim 1 , comprising determining whether to disable a control of the at least one monitoring, treatment or therapy device in response to the triggering condition.

19. The method of claim 1 , comprising disabling less than all of the controls of the at least one monitoring, treatment or therapy device in response to the triggering condition.

20. The method of claim 1 , comprising determining whether a person is at the patient location, disabling a control of the at least one monitoring, treatment or therapy device if the person is not present at the patient location, and enabling a previously disabled control of the at least one monitoring, treatment or therapy device if the person is present at the patient location.
