Abstract

Method for the prevention of the tau protein aggregation and treating Alzheimer's disease by administering a quinoline derivative compound of formula wherein R 2 is 2-(4-aminophenyl) or 2-(4-methylphenyl) and R 6 is methyl as an inhibitor of the tau protein aggregation.

Claims (2)

1. A method for inhibiting tau protein aggregation in an Alzheimer's patient, which comprises the administration of a quinoline derivative of the formula:

wherein R 2 is 2-(4-methylphenyl) and R 6 is methyl.
