Commodity tank for air seeder

1. A commodity tank for use with an air seeding implement, comprising:

a series of panels arranged to form an enclosure defining a volume configured to hold a supply of commodity, at least one or more of the panels having a warping-reducing bend formed therein; and

a hollow tubular member, the tubular member:

located between adjacent and perpendicular panels to define a corner of the enclosure and having at least one vent hole formed therein;

having at least one flat surface to form a mating relationship with a terminal end of the warping-reducing bend formed along the width of at least one or more of the panels; and

being connectable in flow communication with an air source for ducting air from the air source to at least one vent hole so as to allow the ducting of the air through the at least one vent hole into the volume.

2. The commodity tank of claim 1 wherein the each of the panels has a length and a width with the warping-reducing bend formed along the width of at least one or more of the panels.

3. The commodity tank of claim 2 wherein the warping-reducing bend includes an inwardly angled portion formed in the panel.

4. The commodity tank of claim 3 wherein the inwardly angled portion is defined generally at a midpoint along the length of the panel.

5. The commodity tank of claim 4 wherein the inwardly angled portion is defined between an upper and a lower portion of the panel.

6. The commodity tank of claim 1 wherein the tubular member is an elongated member having a substantially square-shaped cross-section.

7. The commodity tank of claim 1 wherein the tubular member is welded to a first and a second panel, wherein the first panel is arranged perpendicular to the second panel.

8. The commodity tank of claim 1 wherein the panels are formed from sheet metal.
