Abstract

The invention relates to a device for filling at least one receptacle ( 12 ) of gel card type initially sealed by a cap. The invention is characterized by the fact that the filling device comprises a piercing member ( 110 ) for perforating the cap, means ( 120 ) for eliminating the electrostatic charges capable of being borne by the receptacle, and filling means ( 130 ) for filling the receptacle after perforation of the cap and elimination of the electrostatic charges.

Claims (20)

1. A device for filling at least one receptacle comprising at least one well initially sealed by a cap, said device including:

a piercing member to perforate the cap,

an eliminating device comprising an ionizer configured to eliminate the electrostatic charges that may be borne by the receptacle,

a transportation device configured to move the receptacle in an intake direction toward the piercing member,

a filling system to fill the well after perforation of the cap and elimination of the electrostatic charges, and

a pair of mobile arms connected to and supporting the piercing member and the ionizer;

wherein the ionizer extends between the pair of mobile arms, and

wherein the ionizer comprises an ionization ramp extending transversely relative to said intake direction.

2. The filling device according to claim 1 , wherein the receptacle is configured for filling at least one receptacle of the gel card type, which includes a plurality of wells sealed by the cap, each of the wells containing one or more reagents.

3. The filling device according to claim 2 , wherein the piercing member includes a piercing rake provided with a plurality of piercing tips that are intended to penetrate the wells while passing through the cap.

4. The filling device according to claim 1 , wherein the filling system comprises at least one pipette.

5. The filling device according to claim 1 , wherein the ionizer includes a plurality of electrodes oriented towards the receptacle during piercing of the cap of said receptacle.

6. The filling device according to claim 1 , wherein the ionizer is configured to generate an electrical field producing a corona effect.

7. A medical analysis machine for analyzing chemical reactions, said machine including:

a filling device according to claim 1 , configured for filling receptacles which comprise at least one well containing one or more reagents while being sealed by at least one cap,

means for bringing said receptacle toward said filling system, and

means for analyzing the chemical reactions that can occur in at least one well of the receptacle after the filling system has poured a quantity of liquid into the at least one well.

8. The machine according to claim 7 , further including a checking station to verify the positioning of the liquid poured into the at least one well by the filling means.

9. The filling device according to claim 1 , wherein the ionization ramp is disposed proximate to the piercing zone such that the gel card is ionized immediately after the cap is pierced.

10. The filling device according to claim 9 , wherein the ionization ramp is disposed as close as possible to the piercing zone.
