Abstract

An LED lamp ( 1 ) is employed in a state mounted on a lighting fixture. The LED lamp ( 1 ) includes an LED source portion ( 2 ) including a plurality of LED chips, an illuminance sensor module ( 12 ) detecting ambient illuminance, and a controller controlling the LED source portion ( 2 ) in response to illuminance of ambient light other than light emitted by the LED source portion ( 2 ) on the basis of an output signal received from the illuminance sensor module ( 12 ) when the LED source portion ( 2 ) is in a lighting-up state. When the LED source portion ( 2 ) is in the lighting-up state, there is a possibility that the illuminance sensor module ( 12 ) detects not only the ambient light illuminance but also spontaneous light illuminance. The controller eliminates influence by the spontaneous light illuminance, and controls the LED source portion ( 2 ) in response to the illuminance of the ambient light.

Claims (55)

1. A straight LED lamp, comprising:

a substrate including two opposed first sides and a second side as an end portion of the first side, wherein the second side is shorter than the first side;

an LED chip group including a plurality of LED chips disposed on a front surface of the substrate at least along an extension direction of the first side;

a case covering the substrate and the LED chip group and being able to transmit light emitted from the LED chip group;

a cap holding the substrate and the case;

a base electrically connected to the LED chip group and a socket of a lighting fixture, and connected to the cap; and

a connector disposed on a side of the front surface of the substrate so as to be apart from a center of the first side with respect to the extension direction, to which a living body recognition sensor for recognizing a living body's presence is mounted, wherein

the LED chip group emits the light with an illumination axis extending toward a direction perpendicular to the front surface of the substrate, and

the living body recognition sensor is mounted to the connector so that a sensitivity axis of the living body recognition sensor and the illumination axis intersect with each other.

2. The straight LED lamp according to claim 1 , wherein

3. The straight LED lamp according to claim 1 , wherein

an opening is formed on a part of the case, and

the living body recognition sensor is connected to the connector via the opening.

4. The straight LED lamp according to claim 1 , wherein

a detecting portion of the living body recognition sensor protrudes from a surface of the straight LED lamp on the front surface side of the substrate.

5. The straight LED lamp according to claim 1 , wherein

at least two connectors are provided so as to sandwich the center of the first side with respect to the extension direction.

6. The straight LED lamp according to claim 1 , further comprising a controller that changes brightness of the light emitted from the LED chip group on a basis of recognition of a living body's presence by the living body recognition sensor.

7. The straight LED lamp according to claim 6 , wherein

the controller has a first mode where

the LED chip group is changed into a lighted state to emit the light, in case the living body recognition sensor has recognized a living body's presence in a recognition state and
