Scalable optical broadcast interconnect
A modular interconnect includes an mn-by-mn fully connected, direct broadcast, point-to-point, all-to-all interconnect fabric, wherein the mn-by-mn fully connected, direct broadcast, point-to-point, all-to-all interconnect fabric is non-blocking and congestion free, and wherein m is an integer≧2 and n is an integer≧2. Operating the modular interconnect includes distributing each of mn inputs to each and every one of mn outputs.
1. An apparatus, comprising a modular interconnect including an mn-by-mn fully connected, direct broadcast, point-to-point, all-to-all interconnect fabric including a plurality of broadcast distribution modules, wherein the mn-by-mn fully connected, direct broadcast, point-to point, all-to-all interconnect fabric is non-blocking and congestion free, and wherein m is an integer ≧2 and n is an integer ≧2,
whereby non-transitory computer readable medium comprising computer or machine readable actionable and code-executable instructional elements are presented and present for implementing in internal firmware elements of the apparatus the physically transformable actions necessary for the reception, replication, distribution and transmission of data stream elements in complex combinatorial computer node to node and
whereby said communications are transmitted and received across a central distributive module.
