Analgesic implant device and system
Techniques associated with an implant system for imparting vibratory massage to tissue within a body is disclosed. In some examples, a device includes a case having an engaging surface configured to conform to a surface in a pelvic region, a passage extending from an opening on the case to another opening on the case, the passage configured to receive a securing member, a vibration generator coupled to the case and configured to generate a vibration, and a power receiver coupled to the case, the power receiver comprising a receiving coil and configured to receive electrical energy from a remote source.
1. A vibration generating device, comprising:
a case comprising a cylindrical shape, an engaging surface configured to conform to a surface in a pelvic region, a first end and a second end;
two conical mounts, wherein one of the two mounts is coupled with the first end of the case and the other mount is coupled with the second end of the case;
at least one passage extending from an opening on one of the mounts to another opening on one of the mounts, the passage configured to receive a securing member;
a vibration generator coupled to the case within a substantially cylindrical space within the case, and the vibration generator comprising a flywheel with an eccentric mass configured to generate a vibration to the pelvic region; and
a power receiver coupled to the case, the power receiver comprising a receiving coil disposed circumferentially within the case, wherein the receiving coil has a tubular structure configured to receive one or more components and is configured to receive electrical energy from a remote source.
2. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a control signal receiver electrically coupled to the vibration generator and configured to receive a control signal from a remote device to generate the vibration.
3. The device of claim 1 , wherein the power receiver is further configured to receive a control signal encoded within the electrical energy from the remote source.
4. The device of claim 1 , wherein the power receiver is configured to receive the electrical energy inductively from the remote source.
5. The device of claim 1 , wherein the pelvic region comprises a suprapubic region of an abdomen.
6. The device of claim 1 , wherein the pelvic region comprises a dorsal aspect region of a penis.
7. The device of claim 1 , wherein the vibration is configured to treat sexual dysfunction.
8. The device of claim 1 , wherein the securing member comprises a suture.
9. The device of claim 1 , wherein the securing member comprises a band.
10. The device of claim 1 , wherein the vibration generator comprises an electrical motor.
11. The device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one passage comprises a first passage in the first mount and a second passage in the second mount.
