Metal picture frame with dust cover
In a picture frame formed of extruded metal sections, each section has a channel for receiving a portion of a corner piece. The corner piece has two L-shaped plates that fit into the receiving channel. A set screw accessible through a gap between two spaced-apart lips at the back of the frame is used to secure adjacent sections.

A picture frame having four extruded metal frame sections, each extruded frame section including a receiving channel for receiving part of a corner piece and two spaced apart lips at the back of the frame section for providing access to a corner piece, a corner piece in each corner of the picture frame for securing together adjacent frame sections, each corner piece including two L-shaped plates adapted to fit into the receiving channels of adjacent frame sections and a set screw accessible through the gap between the lips of the frame section, wherein the clearance between the set screw and the edge of each lip is between 0.005 inches and 0.010 inches.
