Abstract

In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for associating a merchant's contact information with a mobile content, placing a call related to the merchant's contact information from a mobile communication facility, and soliciting the merchant for a future advertising campaign.

Claims (33)

1 . A method of creating mobile pay-per-call advertising inventory comprising:

associating a merchant's contact information with a mobile content;

placing a call related to the merchant's contact information from a mobile communication facility; and

soliciting the merchant for a future advertising program.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the merchant's contact information is a phone number.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the merchant's contact information is a hyperlink.

16 . The method of claim 1 , wherein merchant's contact information is selected and displayed in response to a mobile search.

17 . The method of claim 1 , wherein merchant's contact information is selected and displayed in response to a mobile transaction.

18 . The method of claim 1 , wherein merchant's contact information is selected and displayed in response to syndication to mobile content providers

21 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the selection is based at least in part on information relating to a mobile communication facility.

22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the information relating to a mobile communication facility is a user characteristic.

25 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the information relating to a mobile communication facility is a user transaction.

28 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the information relating to a mobile communication facility is a time.

50 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the program is already generated so that the merchant can simply opt-in or opt-out.

51 . A system of creating mobile pay-per-call advertising inventory comprising:

an associating facility adapted to associate a merchant's contact information with a mobile content;

a calling facility adapted to place a call related to the merchant's contact information from a mobile communication facility; and

a solicitation facility adapted to solicit the merchant for a future advertising program.
