Abstract

An aspect of the present invention relates to an online test platform adapted to facilitate the development, delivery, and management of educational tests with interactive participation by students, teachers, proctors, and administrators even when some or all of them are remotely located. The platform may include administrator interfaces, test proctor interfaces, and test taker (e.g. student) interfaces to allow each participant to view, navigate, and interact with aspects of the online test platform that are intended to meet their needs.

Claims (53)

1 . A method comprising:

storing an indication of accommodations in an test taker profile;

polling the test taker profile in order to determine the accommodations; and in response thereto,

using a dynamic animation compilation functionality to update the test taker's testing environment.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the animation comprises Flash animation.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the test taker profile is polled prior to the test taker starting a test.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the test taker profile is polled during a test.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the test taker accommodation is determined during a test based at least in part on polling the test taker's testing environment.

22 . A method comprising:

using a web browser in association with a computing facility for a test taker to begin testing within an online testing platform;

determining a test taker accommodation based at least in part on polling the web browser during the testing; and

using a dynamic FLASH compilation functionality to update the test taker's testing environment that is presented in the web browser.

23 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the test taker accommodation is determined during a test based at least in part on polling the test taker's testing environment.

a test platform for polling the test taker profile in order to determine the accommodations; and

a dynamic animation compilation functionality to update the test taker's testing environment based on the determined accommodations.

41 . The system of claim 40 , wherein the animation comprises Flash animation.

42 . The system of claim 40 , wherein polling the test taker profile comprises polling the test taker profile prior to the test taker starting a test.

43 . The system of claim 40 , wherein polling the test taker profile comprises polling the test taker profile during a test.

a web browser in association with a computing facility for presenting a test taker's testing environment;

an online testing platform for polling the web browser during the presentation of the testing environment to at least partially determine a test taker accommodation; and

a dynamic FLASH compilation functionality to update the test taker's testing environment based on the determined accommodation.

62 . The system of claim 61 , wherein the test taker accommodation is determined based at least in part on the test taker's environment.
