SIMILARITY BASED LOCATION MAPPING OF MOBILE COMM FACILITY USERS
In embodiments of the present invention methods and systems are described for associating a mobile subscriber characteristic with a mobile communication facility for identifying a location of the mobile communication facility and creating a map that includes the location of the mobile subscriber characteristic based at least in part on the location of the mobile communication facility with which it is associated.
1 . A method comprising:
associating a mobile subscriber characteristic with a mobile communication facility;
identifying a location of the mobile communication facility; and
creating a map that includes the location of the mobile subscriber characteristic based at least in part on the location of the mobile communication facility with which it is associated.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the location is a previous location.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the location is a current location.
4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the location is determined according to location coordinates of a particular mobile communication facility.
5 . The method of claim 4 wherein the location coordinates are determined through GPS.
6 . The method of claim 4 wherein the location coordinates are determined through triangulation.
7 . The method of claim 6 wherein the triangulation is WiFi triangulation.
8 . The method of claim 1 wherein the location is determined by a user entered location.
9 . The method of claim 1 wherein the location is a plurality of geographic regions.
10 . The method of claim 9 wherein the plurality of geographic regions include one or more states.
11 . The method of claim 10 wherein the plurality of geographic regions include one or more cities.
12 . The method of claim 1 wherein the location is determined according to a distance from a specified location.
13 . The method of claim 1 wherein the location is associated with a mobile content.
14 . A method comprising:
associating a user transaction with a mobile communication facility;
identifying a location of the mobile communication facility; and
creating a map that includes the location of the user transaction based at least in part on the location of the mobile communication facility with which it is associated.
15 . The method of claim 14 wherein the user transaction is an online product purchase.
16 . The method of claim 14 wherein the user transaction is an ad conversion.
17 . A method comprising:
associating a usage history with a mobile communication facility;
identifying a location of the mobile communication facility; and
creating a map that includes the location of the usage history based at least in part on the location of the mobile communication facility with which it is associated.
18 . The method of claim 17 wherein the usage history is further associated with wireless provider data.
19 . The method of claim 18 wherein the wireless provider data is based at least in part on content relationships relating to the progression of a user sessions.
20 . The method of claim 18 wherein the wireless provider data is based at least in part on content discovery of new websites.
21 . The method of claim 18 wherein the wireless provider data is based at least in part on access statistics.
22 . The method of claim 18 wherein the wireless provider data is based at least in part on usage statistics.
23 . The method of claim 18 wherein the wireless provider data relates to a stage in an online buying process based at least in part on a mobile content type that is being accessed.
24 . The method of claim 18 wherein the wireless provider data is based at least in part on a user's interaction with a website following conversion of a content item.
25 . The method of claim 18 wherein the wireless provider data is based at least in part on a navigation request received from the mobile communication facility.
