METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF MOBILE QUERY CLASSIFICATION
In embodiments, the present invention provides a method and system for receiving a search query from a mobile communication facility, receiving an indicator input, classifying the search query in association with the indicator input, and formatting the presentation of a search result of the search query based at least in part on the indicator input and search query association.
1 . A method comprising:
receiving a search query from a mobile communication facility;
receiving an indicator input;
classifying the search query in association with the indicator input; and
formatting the presentation of a search result of the search query based at least in part on the indicator input and search query association.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is content popularity.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is query popularity.
4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is an emerging query.
5 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is a current mobile communication facility location.
6 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is a previous mobile communication facility location.
7 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is a user characteristic.
8 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is an editorial work product.
9 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is data provided by a wireless provider.
10 . The method of claim 1 wherein the indicator input is a mobile subscriber characteristic.
11 . The method of claim 1 wherein the classification is made based at least in part on a keyword definition.
12 . The method of claim 1 wherein the classification is made based at least in part on a category.
13 . The method of claim 1 wherein the classification is made based at least in part on a list of structured data.
14 . The method of claim 1 wherein the classification is made based at least in part on a query-modifier combination.
15 . The method of claim 1 wherein the classification is made based at least in part on a reference source.
