COMBINING MOBILE AND TRANSCODED CONTENT IN A MOBILE SEARCH RESULT
In embodiments, the present invention provides a method and system for transcoding non-mobile specific content, creating a blended content repository that includes mobile specific content and transcoded webpage content, receiving a navigation request from a mobile communication facility, presenting a content to the mobile communication facility from the blended content repository based at least in part on a relevancy to the navigation request.
1 . A method comprising:
transcoding non-mobile specific content;
creating a blended content repository that includes mobile specific content and transcoded webpage content;
receiving a navigation request from a mobile communication facility;
presenting a content to the mobile communication facility from the blended content repository based at least in part on a relevancy to the navigation request.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the blended content repository is created automatically according to an algorithm.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the blended content repository is indexed according to an association to a mobile subscriber characteristic.
4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the blended content repository is indexed according to an association to a wireless carrier datum.
5 . The method of claim 4 wherein the wireless carrier datum is based at least in part on content relationships relating to the progression of a user session.
6 . The method of claim 4 wherein the wireless carrier datum is based at least in part on content discovery of new websites.
7 . The method of claim 4 wherein the wireless carrier datum is based at least in part on access statistics.
8 . The method of claim 4 wherein wireless carrier datum is based at least in part on usage statistics.
9 . The method of claim 4 wherein the wireless carrier datum relates to a stage in an online buying process based at least in part on a mobile content type that is being accessed.
10 . The method of claim 4 wherein the wireless carrier datum is based at least in part on a user's interaction with a website following conversion of a content item.
11 . The method of claim 4 wherein the wireless carrier datum is based at least in part on a navigation request received from the mobile communication facility.
12 . The method of claim 1 wherein the relevancy is a mobile subscriber characteristic.
13 . The method of claim 1 wherein the relevancy is a user transaction.
14 . The method of claim 1 wherein the relevancy is a usage history.
15 . The method of claim 14 wherein the usage history is a browse history.
