CULTURE OBSERVATION SYSTEM
There is provided a culture observation system by which an approximate dimension of cells which are observed by a microscope while being cultured can be recognized at one view. A culture observation system according to the invention includes a culturing cabinet 2 for forming an environment suitable for culturing cells, an image pick-up device 3 for photographing a microscopic image of the cells, a display 4 for displaying the photographed microscopic image, and a computer 5 for controlling the display of the display 4 . The computer 5 movably displays a predetermined scale in the microscopic image displayed on the display means 4.
1 . A culture observation system comprising:
culturing means for forming an environment suitable for culturing a culture;
image pick-up means for photographing a microscopic image of the culture;
display means for displaying the microscopic image photographed by the image pick-up means; and
control means for controlling the display of the display means,
wherein the control means movably displays a predetermined scale in the microscopic image displayed on the display means.
2 . The culture observation system according to claim 1 ,
wherein the control means changes the display of the scale in accordance with a photographing magnification of the microscopic image of the image pick-up means.
3 . A culture observation system comprising:
culturing means for forming an environment suitable for culturing a culture;
image pick-up means for photographing a microscopic image of the culture; and
control means for controlling the image pick-up means,
wherein the control means has an auto-focus function of detecting and focusing on a position which is high in sharpness of the microscopic image photographed by the image pick-up means and a function of detecting and focusing on another position which is high in sharpness in a depth direction.
4 . The culture observation system according to any one of claims 1 to 3 ,
wherein the control means includes storage means for storing the microscopic image photographed by the image pick-up means in association with photographing information such as a photographing date and causes the storage means to store, in addition to the photographing information, culturing information related to the culturing environment of the culturing means at the time of photographing in association with the microscopic image.
