Abstract

A puncture instrument set is constituted by a puncture instrument which includes a cylindrical body, plural puncture needles to be held in a state where the puncture needles are connected in series in an axis direction, a puncture needle cartridge for linearly arranging the plural puncture needles in the body, a stopping member for stopping the puncture needle cartridge at a predetermined position in its axis direction, and an elastic biasing member for biasing the puncture needle cartridge in one direction; and a puncture needle replacement jig that enables, after puncturing by the puncture needle, setting of the puncture needle cartridge at the puncture position as well as disposal of the used puncture needle, for a subsequent puncture operation. Thereby, it is an object to provide a high-security puncture instrument set for puncturing the surface of a biologic body, which is provided with plural puncture needles, and is able to perform puncturing continuously by a simple operation.

Claims (34)

1. A puncture instrument set comprising:

a puncture instrument comprising a puncture needle cartridge for holding a plurality of puncture needles for puncturing the surface of a biological body, said puncture needles positioned in series along a longitudinal axis direction of the cartridge, said puncture instrument for repeatedly performing puncture operations; and

a puncture needle disposal instrument for, after puncturing by a first puncture needle among the plurality of puncture needles, setting of the puncture needle cartridge at a puncture operation start position for a next puncture operation, removing said first puncture needle from the puncture needle cartridge, and storing said first puncture needle for discarding,

wherein the puncture needle disposal instrument comprises a pushing part for engaging, and pushing in an upward direction, a slidable part of the puncture instrument for setting a puncture button of the puncture instrument to the puncture operation start position.

2. A puncture instrument set as defined in claim 1 wherein

said puncture needle disposal instrument comprises

a disposal instrument return member for holding a used puncture needle after a puncture operation, and removing the used puncture needle from the puncture instrument, and

a cylindrical member for storing a plurality of removed puncture needles for discarding.

3. A puncture instrument set as defined in claim 1 wherein

said puncture needle disposal instrument comprises

a disposal instrument return member for holding a used puncture needle after a puncture operation, and removing the used puncture needle from the puncture instrument,

a cylindrical member for storing a plurality of removed puncture needles for discarding, and

a disposal box having an opening for insertion of the cylindrical member, said disposal box for storing the plurality of puncture needles for discarding.

4. A puncture needle disposal instrument for removing a puncture needle from a puncture instrument having a holding member which detachably holds a puncture needle for puncturing the surface of a biological body and discarding such a puncture needle, comprising

a disposal instrument return member for holding a used puncture needle after a puncture operation, and removing the used puncture needle from the puncture instrument, and

a cylindrical member for storing a plurality of removed puncture needles for discarding,

wherein the puncture needle disposal instrument comprises a pushing part for engaging, and pushing in an upward direction, a slidable part of the puncture instrument for setting a puncture button of the puncture instrument to a puncture operation start position.

5. A puncture needle disposal instrument as defined in claim 4 wherein

a front end of the cylindrical member is closed to prevent puncture needles stored in the cylindrical member from escaping from the cylindrical member.

6. A puncture needle disposal instrument as defined in claim 4 wherein the whole or a portion of the cylindrical member is transparent.

7. A puncture needle disposal instrument for removing a puncture needle from a puncture instrument having a holding member which detachably holds a puncture needle for puncturing the surface of a biological body and discarding such a puncture needle, comprising

a disposal instrument return member for holding a used puncture needle after a puncture operation, and removing the used puncture needle from the puncture instrument,

a cylindrical member for storing a plurality of removed puncture needles for discarding, and

a disposal box having an opening for insertion of the cylindrical member, said disposal box for storing the plurality of puncture needles for discarding,

wherein the puncture needle disposal instrument comprises a pushing part for engaging, and pushing in an upward direction, a slidable part of the puncture instrument for setting a puncture button of the puncture instrument to a puncture operation start position.

8. A puncture needle disposal instrument as defined in claim 7 wherein said cylindrical member and said disposal box are separable from each other.

9. A puncture needle disposal instrument as defined in claim 8 further comprising

means for closing the opening of the disposal box when the cylindrical member and the disposal box are separated from each other.

10. A puncture needle disposal instrument as defined in claim 7 wherein

the whole or portions of the cylindrical member and the disposal box are transparent.

11. A puncture needle disposal instrument as defined in claim 7 further comprising

a member for guiding the outer shape of the front end portion of the puncture instrument, at the upper surface of the opening of the disposal box.

12. A puncture needle disposal instrument as defined in claim 7 further comprising

a stopper for restricting the depth of insertion of the cylindrical member into the opening of the disposal box, said stopper being in the vicinity of the opening of the disposal box.
