Abstract

A lighting apparatus with an image-projecting function that is convenient for a user can be provided. The lighting apparatus includes: an illuminating unit that emits illumination light; and a projection-type image display unit that projects an image. The projection-type image display unit is configured so that a setting menu screen settable about an image displayed by the projection-type image display unit can be displayed.

Claims (33)

1. A lighting apparatus comprising:

an illuminator configured to emit illumination light; and

a projector configured to project an image,

wherein the projector is further configured to display a setting menu screen on which a display image by the projector is settable,

wherein the projector is further configured to project the image onto a horizontal plane, and

wherein the projector is further configured to project a menu screen for setting an azimuth onto the horizontal plane on which the image is projected.

2. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the projector is further configured to project a menu screen for setting a displayed direction of a character.

3. The lighting apparatus according to claim 2 ,

wherein the projector is further configured to execute a map display application program, and

wherein, when the map display application program displays the map in the projected image, a relative angle between the displayed map and the displayed character is changed according to character-display direction information set manually via the menu screen for setting the displayed direction of the character and to azimuth information set manually via the menu screen for setting the azimuth.

4. The lighting apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a transceiver capable of communicating with an on-line appliance located in a home,

wherein the projector is further configured to project a menu screen for setting a located direction of the on-line appliance onto the horizontal plane on which the image is projected.

5. The lighting apparatus according to claim 4 ,

wherein a displayed position of menu screen display or information display about the on-line appliance in the projected image of the projector is changed depending on the located direction of the on-line appliance that is set via the menu screen for setting the located direction of the on-line appliance.

6. The lighting apparatus according to claim 4 , comprising an operation detector capable of detecting a flick operation by a user on a projected image surface of the projector,

wherein, when the operation detector detects the flick operation in the located direction of the on-line appliance that is set via the menu screen for setting the located direction of the on-line appliance, the transceiver transmits control information to the on-line appliance.

7. A lighting apparatus comprising:

an illuminator configured to emit illumination light;

a projector configured to project an image; and

a controller configured to control, in detecting a lighting failure error about a light source of the illuminator, one of:

first error notification control that notifies an error via a light-emitting indicator provided to a lighting apparatus body;

second error notification control that displays an indication indicating the lighting failure error about the light source of the illuminator in the displayed image projected by the projector; or

third error notification control that transmits information to a display device with a communication function communicable via a transceiver provided to the lighting apparatus, and that displays the indication indicating the lighting failure error about the light source of the illuminator in a displayed image by the display device with the communication function,

wherein the second error notification control or the third error notification control projects a selection indication prompting a user to select whether or not a light for substituting the illumination light of the illuminator is projected by the projector in a displayed image for making an error notification.

8. The lighting apparatus according to claim 7 ,

wherein, when the user selects to project the light for substituting the illumination light of the illuminator by the projector, a selection of a color of the projected light by the projector in the displayed image is made via the selection indication.

9. A lighting apparatus comprising:

an illuminator configured to emit illumination light;

a projector configured to project an image; and

a transceiver,

wherein, when the transceiver receives emergency information from an external server via a network, an indication indicating that an emergency situation has occurred is made in an image projected by the projector, and

wherein, when the indication indicating that the emergency situation has occurred is made, an indication including a link to an information acquisition site for responding to the emergency situation is made simultaneously therewith.
