Abstract

One embodiment provides a method, the method including: obtaining, using at least one sensor of an information handling device facilitating a video conference, at least one image of a portion of a user of the information handling device participating in the video conference, wherein at least one participant in the video conference is located remotely with respect to the user; identifying, using an image diagnosis system, a condition of the portion of the user by analyzing the at least one image of the portion of the user; and transmitting, using the image diagnosis system, the condition to the at least one participant. Other aspects are claimed and described.

Claims (33)

1. A method, the method comprising:

obtaining, using at least one sensor of an information handling device facilitating a video conference, at least one image of a portion of a user of the information handling device participating in the video conference, wherein at least one participant in the video conference is located remotely with respect to the user;

identifying, using an image diagnosis system, a condition of the portion of the user by analyzing the at least one image of the portion of the user; and

transmitting, using the image diagnosis system, the condition to the at least one participant.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the obtaining at least one image comprises obtaining at least one color image and at least one near infrared image.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the identifying comprises measuring a spectral reflectance of the at least one near infrared image.

4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the identifying comprises augmenting information obtained from the at least one color image with information obtained from the at least one near infrared image.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the identifying comprises utilizing a neural network.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the neural network is trained utilizing image data previously classified with conditions.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the identifying comprises identifying a depth signature associated with the at least one image.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the identifying comprises determining a size of the portion of the user from the at least one image.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the condition comprises a medical condition.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the information handling device comprises a personal user device of the user.

11. A system, the system comprising:

an information handling device comprising at least one sensor;

a processor operatively coupled to the information handling device;

a memory device that stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the system to:

obtain, using the at least one sensor of the information handling device that is facilitating a video conference, at least one image of a portion of a user of the information handling device participating in the video conference, wherein at least one participant in the video conference is located remotely with respect to the user;

identify, using an image diagnosis system, a condition of the portion of the user by analyzing the at least one image of the portion of the user; and

transmit, using the image diagnosis system, the condition to the at least one participant.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the obtaining at least one image comprises obtaining at least one color image and at least one near infrared image.

13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the identifying comprises measuring a spectral reflectance of the at least one near infrared image.

14. The system of claim 12 , wherein the identifying comprises augmenting information obtained from the at least one color image with information obtained from the at least one near infrared image.

15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the identifying comprises utilizing a neural network.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the neural network is trained utilizing image data previously classified with conditions.

17. The system of claim 11 , wherein the identifying comprises identifying a depth signature associated with the at least one image.

18. The system of claim 11 , wherein the identifying comprises determining a size of the portion of the user from the at least one image.

19. The system of claim 11 , wherein the information handling device comprises a personal user device of the user.

20. A product, the product comprising:

a computer-readable storage device that stores executable code that, when executed by a processor, causes the product to:

obtain, using at least one sensor of an information handling device facilitating a video conference, at least one image of a portion of a user of the information handling device participating in the video conference, wherein at least one participant in the video conference is located remotely with respect to the user;

identify, using an image diagnosis system, a condition of the portion of the user by analyzing the at least one image of the portion of the user; and

transmit, using the image diagnosis system, the condition to the at least one participant.
