Abstract

A method for providing content items identifying recommendations includes identifying for a first user profile at least one active fantasy sports lineup including a list of players and one or more previous fantasy sports lineups, and generating, for a user, a recommendation profile including a plurality of relevance scores. The method further includes identifying a plurality of candidate recommendations, and determining, for each of the plurality of candidate recommendations, a match score indicating a level of relevance between the candidate recommendation and the recommendation profile. The method further includes prioritizing the plurality of candidate recommendations based on the relevance scores, and providing to a device associated with the first user profile, a content item identifying a selected candidate content management of the plurality of candidate recommendations based on the relevance score between the selected candidate recommendation and the recommendation profile.

Claims (32)

1. A system, comprising:

one or more processors coupled to non-transitory memory, the one or more processors configured to:

maintain, for a user profile of a user, a wager recommendation profile generated based on a plurality of previous wagers placed by the user, the wager recommendation profile comprising a plurality of relevancy scores;

identify a plurality of candidate wager recommendations relating to a plurality of sporting events that have not yet ended based on the plurality of relevancy scores of the wager recommendation profile;

select, from the plurality of candidate wager recommendations identified based on the plurality of relevancy scores, a wager recommendation based on a match score between the wager recommendation and the wager recommendation profile of the user; and

provide, to a device associated with the user, a content item identifying the wager recommendation, the content item including an actionable object, which when selected on the device, causes the device to generate a request for a wager corresponding to the wager recommendation.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to generate the wager recommendation profile based on the plurality of previous wagers placed by the user.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to identify the plurality of candidate wager recommendations based on each of the plurality of candidate wager recommendations having a candidate wager type that matches a wager type of at least one previous wager of the plurality of previous wagers placed by the user.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to identify the plurality of candidate wager recommendations based on each of the plurality of candidate wager recommendations identifying at least one team participating in at least one sporting event of the plurality of sporting events that is also identified in at least one previous wager of the plurality of previous wagers placed by the user.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine, for the wager recommendation, a wager recommendation match score indicating a level of relevance between the wager recommendation and the wager recommendation profile of the user.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to update the wager recommendation profile responsive to an interaction with the content item.

7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to execute a weighted aggregation for each candidate wager recommendation based on the wager recommendation profile to select the wager recommendation.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to select one or more user attributes from the user profile; and

generate the wager recommendation profile using the one or more user attributes, the one or more user attributes indicating at least one of at least one team, at least one wager type, or at least one wager amount.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to determine a position within a display of the device associated with the user for the content item based on the at least one relevancy score.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to dynamically modify the plurality of candidate wager recommendations responsive to a change to one or more user attributes of the user profile.

11. A method, comprising:

maintaining, by one or more processors coupled to memory, for a user profile of a user, a wager recommendation profile generated based on a plurality of previous wagers placed by the user, the wager recommendation profile comprising a plurality of relevancy scores;

identifying, by the one or more processors, a plurality of candidate wager recommendations relating to a plurality of sporting events that have not yet ended based on the plurality of relevancy scores of the wager recommendation profile;

selecting, by the one or more processors, from the plurality of candidate wager recommendations identified based on the plurality of relevancy scores, a wager recommendation based on a match score between the wager recommendation and the wager recommendation profile of the user; and

providing, by the one or more processors, to a device associated with the user, a content item identifying the wager recommendation, the content item including an actionable object, which when selected on the device, causes the device to generate a request for a wager corresponding to the wager recommendation.

12. The method of claim 11 , further comprising generating, by the one or more processors, the wager recommendation profile based on the plurality of previous wagers placed by the user.

13. The method of claim 11 , further comprising identifying, by the one or more processors, the plurality of candidate wager recommendations based on each of the plurality of candidate wager recommendations having a candidate wager type that matches a wager type of at least one previous wager of the plurality of previous wagers placed by the user.

14. The method of claim 11 , further comprising identifying, by the one or more processors, the plurality of candidate wager recommendations based on each of the plurality of candidate wager recommendations identifying at least one team participating in at least one sporting event of the plurality of sporting events that is also identified in at least one previous wager of the plurality of previous wagers placed by the user.

15. The method of claim 11 , further comprising determining, by the one or more processors, for the wager recommendation, a wager recommendation match score indicating a level of relevance between the wager recommendation and the wager recommendation profile of the user.

16. The method of claim 11 , further comprising updating, by the one or more processors, the wager recommendation profile responsive to an interaction with the content item.

17. The method of claim 16 , further comprising executing, by the one or more processors, a weighted aggregation for each candidate wager recommendation based on the wager recommendation profile to select the wager recommendation.

18. The method of claim 11 , further comprising:

selecting, by the one or more processors, one or more user attributes from the user profile; and

generating, by the one or more processors, the wager recommendation profile using the one or more user attributes, the one or more user attributes indicating at least one of at least one team, at least one wager type, or at least one wager amount.

19. The method of claim 11 , further comprising determining, by the one or more processors, a position within a display of the device associated with the user for the content item based on the at least one relevancy score.

20. The method of claim 11 , further comprising dynamically modifying, by the one or more processors, the plurality of candidate wager recommendations responsive to a change to one or more user attributes of the user profile.
