GREEN BODY INCLUDING A METAL NANOPARTICLE BINDER
According to an example, a green body may include from about 1 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of a metal nanoparticle binder and a build material powder, wherein the metal nanoparticle binder is selectively located within an area of the green body to impart a strength greater than about 3 MPa.

14 . A green body, comprising:
from about 1 wt. % to about 20 wt. % of a metal nanoparticle binder;
a polymer binder; and
a build material powder;
wherein the metal nanoparticle binder is selectively located within an area of the green body to impart a strength greater than about 3 MPa to the area.

The green body of claim 14 , wherein the area of the green body includes an area selected from the group consisting of bridges, cantilevers, thin walls, edges, exterior corners, middle sections of large parts, middle section of high aspect ration parts, small features, junction positions, and combinations thereof.
16 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the build material powder is selected from the group consisting of metals, metal alloys, and ceramics.
17 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the build material powder is selected from the group consisting of a metal and a metal alloy.
18 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the build material powder is selected from the group consisting of aluminum, copper, Ti 6 Al 4 V, AlSi 10 Mg, a bronze alloy, stainless steel, a cobalt-chromium alloy, and a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy.
19 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the build material powder is a metal and the metal nanoparticle binder is the same metal as the metal of the build material powder.
20 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the build material powder is a metal and the metal nanoparticle binder is different from the metal of the build material powder.
21 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the metal nanoparticle binder is selected from the group consisting of AlN, SiC, Si 3 N 4 , WC, Al 2 O 3 , Al(OH) 3 , Fe 2 O 3 , Fe 3 O 4 , MgO, SiO 2 , TiO 2 , Y 2 O 3 , ZnO, ZrO 2 , BaCO 3 , In 2 O 3 , SnO 2 , carbon, magnesium, manganese, aluminum, iron, titanium. niobium, tungsten, chromium, tantalum, cobalt, nickel, vanadium, zirconium, molybdenum, palladium, platinum, copper, silver, gold, cadmium, zinc, and combinations thereof.

The green body of claim 14 , wherein the polymer binder is selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, polyethylene oxide, polyethylene glycol, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polystyrene, styrene-acrylonitrile resin, polyphenyl ether, polyamide 11, polyamide 12, polymethyl pentene, polyoxymethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyvinylidene fluoride, polytetrafluoroethylene, perfluoroalkoxy alkane, polyphenylene sulfide, and polyether ether ketone.
23 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the polymer binder is polypropylene or polyethylene.
24 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the metal nanoparticle binder is a metal nanoparticle binder particle having a particle size ranging from about 1 nm to about 1000 nm.
25 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the metal nanoparticle binder is present in an amount ranging from about 1 wt. % to about 15 wt. %.
26 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the metal nanoparticle binder is present in an amount ranging from about 1 wt. % to about 5 wt. %.
27 . The green body of claim 14 , wherein the green body is a 3D printed green body comprising the build material powder, the metal nanoparticle binder, and the polymer binder.
