Abstract

A golf shoe comprising an upper; a sole assembly attached to the upper, the sole assembly comprising a midsole and an outsole comprising a plurality of tracks extending across the outsole in a plurality of different directions; and a plurality of traction elements arranged along the plurality of tracks, wherein the plurality of traction elements comprises: (i) a first set of traction elements comprising one or more stability elements; (ii) a second set of traction elements comprising one or more medium studs; (iii) a third set of traction elements comprising one or more locking elements; and (iv) a fourth set of traction elements comprising one or more small studs.

Claims (27)

1 . A golf shoe, comprising:

an upper;

a sole assembly attached to the upper, the sole assembly comprising a midsole and an outsole comprising a plurality of tracks extending across the outsole in a plurality of different directions; and

a plurality of traction elements arranged along the plurality of tracks, wherein the plurality of traction elements comprises:

(i) a first set of traction elements comprising one or more stability elements;

(ii) a second set of traction elements comprising one or more medium studs;

(iii) a third set of traction elements comprising one or more locking elements; and

(iv) a fourth set of traction elements comprising one or more small studs.

2 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements comprise a first type of truncated cone or conical frustum.

3 . The golf shoe of claim 2 , wherein the one or more medium studs comprise a second type of truncated cone or conical frustum with a different shape or profile than the first type of truncated cone or conical frustum.

4 . The golf shoe of claim 3 , wherein the one or more locking elements comprise a third type of truncated cone or conical frustum with a different shape or profile than the first type of truncated cone or conical frustum and the second type of truncated cone or conical frustum.

5 . The golf shoe of claim 4 , wherein the one or more locking elements comprise one or more arms or fins projecting radially outwards.

6 . The golf shoe of claim 4 , wherein the one or more locking elements have a distal surface with a depression or a recess.

7 . The golf shoe of claim 4 , wherein the one or more small studs comprise a cone or a fourth type of truncated cone or conical frustum with a different shape or profile than the first type of truncated cone or conical frustum, the second type of truncated cone or conical frustum, and the third type of truncated cone or conical frustum.

8 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements, the one or more medium studs, the one or more locking elements, and the one or more small studs are disposed along a same track.

9 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements and the one or more medium studs are disposed along a same track.

10 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements and the one or more medium studs are disposed along different tracks.

11 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements and the one or more locking elements are disposed along a same track.

12 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements and the one or more locking elements are disposed along different tracks.

13 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements and the one or more small studs are disposed along a same track.

14 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more stability elements and the one or more small studs are disposed along different tracks.

15 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more medium studs and the one or more locking elements are disposed along a same track.

16 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more medium studs and the one or more locking elements are disposed along different tracks.

17 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more medium studs and the one or more small studs are disposed along a same track.

18 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more medium studs and the one or more small studs are disposed along different tracks.

19 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more locking elements and the one or more small studs are disposed along a same track.

20 . The golf shoe of claim 1 , wherein the one or more locking elements and the one or more small studs are disposed along different tracks.
