TV lens system
A zoom rate demand is provided with characteristic switches for switching its output characteristics. Each of the characteristic switches is assigned to a corresponding output characteristic, and contents of the characteristic to be assigned to the characteristic switches can be changed by an operator by means of a personal computer.
1. A TV lens system, comprising:
a TV lens apparatus; and
a computer connectable with said TV lens apparatus, said computer setting a characteristic, with respect to control of an optical member driven with a motor in the TV lens apparatus,
said TV lens system including a zoom controller instructing the TV lens apparatus to control the optical member in accordance with the set characteristic, said computer including a predetermined application software displaying an execution screen on the computer for instructing various controls and settings of the optical member for focus and zoom, and said application software execution screen on the computer instructing selection and changes of characteristics used by said zoom controller, wherein the characteristics include characteristic curves assigned to characteristic switches in a said zoom controller.
2. A TV lens system, comprising:
a TV lens apparatus; and
a computer connectable with said TV lens apparatus, said computer setting a characteristic, with respect to control of an optical member driven with a motor in the TV lens apparatus,
said TV lens system including a zoom controller instructing the TV lens apparatus to control the optical member in accordance with the set characteristic, said computer including a predetermined application software displaying an execution screen on the computer for instructing various controls and settings of the optical member for focus and zoom, and said execution screen displaying a plurality of types of characteristic curves to select as characteristics.

The TV lens system as defined in claim 2 , wherein the characteristics on the execution screen for the characteristic curve are selected and assigned to the characteristic switches and transmitted from the computer to the zoom controller for changing and updating prepared characteristics in a memory of one of the TV lens apparatus and the zoom controller.
