Abstract

A stripping composition comprising at least one of alcohols having an ether-bond in the molecule thereof as component (a), and an anticorrosive as component (b). Furfuryl alcohol or tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol is preferable as component (a).

Claims (48)

1. A stripping composition comprising at least one of alcohols having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof as component (a), an anticorrosive as component (b) and lactic acid as component (c).

2. The stripping composition according to claim 1 , wherein said alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof is represented by the following chemical formula:

X—(A—OH) n

(where X is a cyclic ether structure, A is a hydrocarbon chain having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 1 or more and represents the number of substituents to the cyclic ether structure).

3. The stripping composition according to claim 1 , wherein said alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof is furfuryl alcohol or tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol.

4. The stripping composition according to claim 1 , wherein the component (a) is a mixture of alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof and alcohol having a glycol ether structure in the molecule thereof.

5. The stripping composition according to claim 1 , comprising water as component (d).

6. The stripping composition according to claim 5 , wherein the content of said water is less than 70% by weight.

The stripping composition according to claim 1 , wherein said component (b) is an anticorrosive selected fromthe grop consisting of (1) purine derivatives; (2) compounds of dibasicity of higher, each having at least one carboxylic group, having an ability to form a chelate with a metal, and having a hydrophobic group; (3) the mixture of said purine derivatives and quinaldinic acid, or (4) the mixture of said compounds of (2) and quinaldinic acid; (5) the mixture of said purine derivatives of (1) and said compounds of (2); and (6) the mixture of said purine derivatives of (1), said compounds of (2), and quinaldinic acid.

8. The stripping composition according to claim 7 , wherein said compound of (2) is o-phthalic acid.

9. A stripping composition comprising at least one of alcohols having an ether-bond in the molecule thereof as component (a), and an anticorrosive as component (b), wherein said component (b) is an anticorrosive selected from the group consisting of (1) adenine or the derivative thereof; (2) compounds of dibasicity of higher each having at least one carboxylic group, having an ability to form a chelate with a metal, and having a hydrophobic group; (3) the mixture of said purine derivatives and quinaldinic acid, or (4) the mixture of said compounds of (2) and quinaldinic acid; (5) the mixture of said purine derivatives of (1) and said compounds of (2); and (6) the mixture of said purine derivatives of (1), said compounds of (2), and quinaldinic acid.

10. The stripping composition according to claim 1 , further comprising at least one of amines as component (e).

11. The stripping composition according to claim 10 , wherein said amine is an alkanolamine.

12. The stripping composition according to claim 10 , wherein the base equivalent value of said amines is larger than the equivalent value of the acid component in the system.

13. The stripping composition according to claim 9 , further comprising at least one of amines as component (e).

14. The stnpping composition according to claim 13 , wherein said amine is an alkanolamine.

15. The stripping composition according to claim 13 , wherein the base equivalent value of said amines is larger than the equivalent value of the acid component in the system.

16. The stripping composition according to claim 5 , further comprising at least one of amines as component (e).

17. The stripping composition according to claim 16 , wherein said amine is an alkanolamine.

18. The stripping composition according to claim 16 , wherein the base equivalent value of said amines is larger than the equivalent value of the acid component in the system.

19. The stripping composition according to claim 16 , comprising 0.001 to 15% by weight of component (b), 1 to 13.5% by weight of component (c), 2 to 70% by weight of component (d), 1 to 40% by weight of component (e), and 30% by weight or more component (a) as the balance.

20. A stripping composition comprising at least one of alcohols having an ether bond in the molecule thereof as component (a), at least one of hydrofluoric acid and a salt thereof as component (c′), and water as component (d).

21. The stripping composition according to claim 20 , wherein said component (a) is an alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof.

22. The stripping composition according to claim 21 , wherein said alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof is furfuryl alcohol or tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol.

23. The stripping composition according to claim 20 , further comprising at least one of amines as component (e).

24. The stripping composition according to claim 23 , wherein said amine is an alkanolamine.

25. The stripping composition according to claim 23 , comprising 0.01 to 15% by weight of component (c′), 5 to 30% by weight of component (d), 10 to 40% by weight of component (e), and 20% by weight or more component (a) as the balance.

26. The stripping composition according to claim 23 , further comprising an anticorrosive as component (b).

The stripping composition according to claim 26 , wherein said component (b) is an anticorrosive selected from the group consisting of (1) purine derivatives; (2) compounds of dibasicity of higher, each having at least one carboxylic group, having an ability to form a chelate with a metal, and having a hydrophobic group; (3) the mixture of said purine derivatives and quinaldinic acid, or (4) the mixture of said compounds of (2) and quinaldinic acid; (5) the mixture of said purine derivatives of (1) and said compounds of (2); and (6) the mixture of said purine derivatives of (1), said compounds of (2), and quinaldinic acid.

28. The stripping composition according to claim 27 , wherein said compound of (2) is o-phthalic acid.

29. The stripping composition according to claim 27 , wherein said purine derivative of (1) is adenine or a derivative thereof.

30. The stripping composition according to claim 26 , comprising 0.001 to 15% by weight of component (b).

31. The stripping composition according to claim 9 , wherein said component (a) is an alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof.

32. The stripping composition according to claim 31 , wherein said alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof is represented by the following chemical formula:

X—(A—OH)n

(where X is a cyclic ether structure, A is a hydrocarbon chain having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 1 or more and represents the number of substituents to the cyclic ether structure).

33. The stripping composition according to claim 31 , wherein said alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof is furfuryl alcohol or tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol.

34. The stripping composition according to claim 9 , wherein the component (a) is a mixture of alcohol having a cyclic ether structure in the molecule thereof and alcohol having a glycol ether structure in the molecule thereof.

35. The stripping composition according to claim 9 , comprising water as component (d).

36. The stripping composition according to claim 35 , wherein the content of said water is less than 70% by weight.

37. The stripping composition according to claim 9 , further comprising at least one of organic or inorganic weak acids as component (c).

38. The stripping composition according to claim 37 , wherein said component (c) is lactic acid.

39. The stripping composition according to claim 37 , comprising water as component (d).

40. The stripping composition according to claim 39 , wherein the content of said water is less than 70% by weight.

41. The stripping composition according to claim 39 , further comprising at least one of amines as component (e).

42. The stripping composition according to claim 41 , wherein said amine is an alkanolamine.

43. The stripping composition according to claim 41 , wherein the base equivalent value of said amines is larger than the equivalent value of the acid component in the system.

44. The stripping composition according to claim 41 , comprising 0.001 to 15% by weight of component (b), 0 to 15% by weight of component (c), 2 to 70% by weight of component (d), 1 to 40% by weight of component (e), and 30% by weight or more of component (a) as the balance.
