Combinations for the treatment of immunoinflammatory disorders
The invention features pharmaceutical compositions that include dipyridamole and a corticosteroid.
1. A pharmaceutical composition comprising only two active ingredients wherein the first of said active ingredients is a corticosteroid and the second of said active ingredients is dipyridamole, wherein said composition comprises 0.5 to 10 mg corticosteroid and 100 to 400 mg of dipyridamole, wherein said dipyridamole enhances the potency of said corticosteroid and wherein said pharmaceutical composition further comprises an excipient.

3. The composition of claim 2 , wherein said corticosteroid is fludrocortisone, prednisolone, or prednisone.
4. The composition of claim 1 , wherein said composition is formulated for oral administration.
5. The composition of claim 1 , wherein said composition is formulated for topical administration.
6. The composition of claim 1 , wherein said composition is formulated for intravenous administration.
7. A pharmaceutical composition consisting of active ingredients and excipients, wherein said active ingredients consist of a corticosteroid and dipyridamole, and wherein said composition comprises 0.5 to 10 mg corticosteroid and 100 to 400 mg of dipyridamole, and wherein said dipyridamole enhances the potency of said corticosteroid.

9. The composition of claim 8 , wherein said corticosteroid is fludrocortisone, prednisolone, or prednisone.
10. The composition of claim 7 , wherein said composition is formulated for oral administration.
11. The composition of claim 7 , wherein said composition is formulated for topical administration.
12. The composition of claim 7 , wherein said composition is formulated for intravenous administration.
13. A composition formulated for oral administration comprising only two active ingredients, wherein the first of said active ingredients is dipyridamole in an amount that ranges from 100 to 400 mg and the second of said active ingredients is prednisolone in an amount that ranges from 0.5 to 10 mg, wherein said dipyridamole enhances the potency of said prednisolone.
