Abstract

Compounds of formulae: where Ar 1 , Ar 2 , R 3 , R 4 , and m are disclosed herein, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (a “Nitro(cyano)vinylpiperazine Compound”); compositions comprising an effective amount of a Nitro(cyano)vinylpiperazine Compound; and methods for treating or preventing pain and other conditions in an animal comprising administering to an animal in need thereof an effective amount of a Nitro(cyano)vinylpiperazine Compound are disclosed.

Claims (168)

1. A compound of formula (I):

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein

Ar 1 is

Ar 2 is

R 1 is —H, -halo, —CH 3 , —CN, —NO 2 , —OCH 3 , —NH 2 , —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , or —CH 2 (halo);

each R 2 is independently:

(a) -halo, —OH, —NH 2 , —CN, or —NO 2 ;

(b) —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups; or

(c) -phenyl, -naphthyl, —(C 14 )aryl or -(5- to 10-membered)heteroaryl, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 6 groups;

each R 3 is independently:

(a) -halo, —OH, —NH 2 , —CN, or —NO 2 ;

(b) —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 10 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups; or

(c) -phenyl, -naphthyl, —(C 14 )aryl or -(5- to 10-membered)heteroaryl, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 6 groups;

R 4 is —H, —CN, —C(O)O(C 1 -C 4 )alkyl, or —C(O)NH((C 1 -C 4 )alkyl);

each R 5 is independently —CN, —OH, —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 ) alkynyl, -halo, —N 3 , —NO 2 , —N(R 7 ) 2 , —CH═NR 7 , —NR 7 OH, —OR 7 , —COR 7 , —C(O)OR 7 , —OC(O)R 7 , —OC(O)OR 7 , —SR 7 , —S(O)R 7 , or —S(O) 2 R 7 ;

each R 6 is independently —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 8 )cycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, -phenyl, -(3- to 5-membered)heterocycle, —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , —CH 2 (halo), —CN, —OH, -halo, —N 3 , —NO 2 , —N(R 7 ) 2 , —CH═NR 7 , —NR 7 OH, —OR 7 , —COR 7 , —C(O)OR 7 , —OC(O)R 7 , —OC(O)OR 7 , —SR 7 , —S(O)R 7 , or —S(O) 2 R 7 ;

each R 7 is independently —H, —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 8 )cycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, -phenyl, -(3- to 5-membered)heterocycle, —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , or —CH 2 (halo);

each R 8 is independently —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 8 )cycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, -phenyl, -(3- to 5-membered)heterocycle, —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , —CH 2 (halo), —CN, —OH, —halo, —N 3 , —NO 2 , —N(R 7 ) 2 , —CH═NR 2 , —NR 7 OH, —OR 2 , —COR 7 , —C(O)OR 7 , —OC(O)R 7 , —OC(O)OR 7 , —SR 7 , —S(O)R 7 , or —S(O) 2 R 7 ;

each halo is independently —F, —Cl, —Br, or —I;

m is an integer ranging from 0 to 2;

n is an integer ranging from 0 to 3;

q is an integer ranging from 0 to 6;

r is an integer ranging from 0 to 5; and

s is an integer ranging from 0 to 4.

2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 4 is —CN, —C(O)O(C 1 -C 4 )alkyl, or —C(O)NH((C 1 -C 4 )alkyl).

3. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 4 is —H.

4. The compound of claim 3 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0;

m is 0; and

Ar 2 is

5. The compound of claim 4 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

6. The compound of claim 3 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0;

m is 1;

R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 is

7. The compound of claim 6 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

8. A compound of formula (II):

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein

Ar 1 is

Ar 2 is

R 1 is —H, -halo, —CH 3 , —CN, —NO 2 , —OCH 3 , —NH 2 , —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , or —CH 2 (halo);

each R 2 is independently:

(a) -halo, —OH, —NH 2 , —CN, or —NO 2 ;

(b) —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups; or

(a) -halo, —OH, —NH 2 , —CN, or —NO 2 ;

(b) —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 10 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups; or

(c) -phenyl, -naphthyl, —(C 14 )aryl or -(5- to 10-membered)heteroaryl, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 6 groups;

R 4 is —H, —CN, —C(O)O(C 1 -C 4 )alkyl, or —C(O)NH((C 1 -C 4 )alkyl);

each R 5 is independently —CN, —OH, —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl, -halo, —N 3 , —NO 2 , —N(R 7 ) 2 , —CH═NR 7 , —NR 7 OH, —OR 7 , —COR 7 , —C(O)OR 7 , —OC(O)R 7 , —OC(O)OR 7 , —SR 7 , —S(O)R 7 , or —S(O) 2 R 7 ;

each R 6 is independently —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 8 )cycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, -phenyl, -(3- to 5-membered)heterocycle, —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , —CH 2 (halo), —CN, —OH, -halo, —N 3 , —NO 2 , —N(R 7 )2, —CH═NR 7 , —NR 7 OH, —OR 7 , —COR 7 , —C(O)OR 7 , —OC(O)R 7 , —OC(O)OR 7 , —SR 7 , —S(O)R 7 , or —S(O) 2 R 7 ;

each R 7 is independently —H, —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 8 )cycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, -phenyl, -(3- to 5-membered)heterocycle, —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , or —CH 2 (halo);

each R 8 is independently —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 6 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 8 )cycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, -phenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, —C(halo) 3 , —CH(halo) 2 , —CH 2 (halo), —CN, —OH, -halo, —N 3 , —NO 2 , —N(R 7 )2, —CH═NR 2 , —NR 7 OH, —OR 2 , —COR 7 , —C(O)OR 7 , —OC(O)R 7 , —OC(O)OR 7 , —SR 7 , —S(O)R 7 , or —S(O) 2 R 7 ;

each halo is independently —F, —Cl, —Br, or —I;

m is an integer ranging from 0 to 2;

n is an integer ranging from 0 to 3;

q is an integer ranging from 0 to 6;

r is an integer ranging from 0 to 5; and

s is an integer ranging from 0 to 4.

9. The compound of claim 8 , wherein R 4 is —CN, —C(O)O(C 1 -C 4 )alkyl, or —C(O)NH((C 1 -C 4 )alkyl).

10. The compound of claim 8 , wherein R 4 is —H.

11. The compound of claim 10 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0;

m is 0; and

Ar 2 is

12. The compound of claim 11 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

13. The compound of claim 10 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0;

m is 1;

R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 , is

14. The compound of claim 13 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

15. A composition comprising an effective amount of the compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound of claim 1 , and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.

16. A composition comprising an effective amount of the compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound of claim 8 , and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.

17. An in vivo method for inhibiting VR1 function in a cell, comprising contacting a cell capable of expressing VR1 in vivo with an effective amount of the compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound of claim 1 .

18. An in vivo method for inhibiting VR1 function in a cell, comprising contacting a cell capable of expressing VR1 in vivo with an effective amount of the compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound of claim 8 .

19. The compound of claim 4 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

20. The compound of claim 5 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

21. The compound of claim 6 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

22. The compound of claim 7 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, -CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

23. The compound of claim 3 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 1 or 2;

m is 0; and

Ar 2 is

24. The compound of claim 23 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

25. The compound of claim 23 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

26. The compound of claim 25 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

27. The compound of claim 26 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

28. The compound of claim 27 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.

29. The compound of claim 3 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 1 or 2;

m is 1;

R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 is

30. The compound of claim 29 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

31. The compound of claim 29 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

32. The compound of claim 31 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

33. The compound of claim 32 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, —(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

34. The compound of claim 33 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.

35. The compound of claim 3 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0, 1 or 2;

m is 0 or m is 1 and R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 is

36. The compound of claim 35 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

37. The compound of claim 35 , wherein s is 0 or 1.

38. The compound of claim 37 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

39. The compound of claim 38 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.

40. The compound of claim 3 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0, 1 or 2;

m is 0 or m is 1 and R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 is

41. The compound of claim 40 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

42. The compound of claim 40 , wherein s is 0 or 1.

43. The compound of claim 42 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

44. The compound of claim 43 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.

45. The compound of claim 11 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

46. The compound of claim 12 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

47. The compound of claim 13 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

48. The compound of claim 14 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

49. The compound of claim 10 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 1 or 2;

m is 0; and

Ar 2 is

50. The compound of claim 49 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

51. The compound of claim 49 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

52. The compound of claim 51 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

53. The compound of claim 52 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C14)bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

54. The compound of claim 53 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.

55. The compound of claim 10 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 1 or 2;

m is 1;

R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 is

56. The compound of claim 55 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

57. The compound of claim 55 , wherein r is 0, 1 or 2 and when r is 1 or 2 Ar 2 is substituted at its para-position with an R 8 group.

58. The compound of claim 57 , wherein each R 8 is independently selected from -halo, -cyclohexyl, -tert-butoxy, -iso-propoxy, —CF 3 , —OCF 3 , or —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, wherein optionally each R 8 —(C 1 -C 6 )alkyl is independently selected from -iso-propyl, -tert-butyl, -iso-butyl or -sec-butyl.

59. The compound of claim 58 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

60. The compound of claim 59 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.

61. The compound of claim 10 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0, 1 or 2;

m is 0 or m is 1 and R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 is

62. The compound of claim 61 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

63. The compound of claim 61 , wherein s is 0 or 1.

The compound of claim 63 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C14)tricyoloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

65. The compound of claim 64 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.

66. The compound of claim 10 , wherein:

R 1 is -halo, —C(halo) 3 , or —CH 3 ;

n is 0, 1 or 2;

m is 0 or m is 1 and R 3 is methyl; and

Ar 2 is

67. The compound of claim 66 , wherein R 1 is —F, —Cl, —CF 3 or —CH 3 .

68. The compound of claim 66 , wherein s is 0 or 1.

The compound of claim 68 , wherein n is 1 and R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkenyl, —(C 2 -C 10 )alkynyl, —(C 3 -C 10 )cycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )tricycloalkyl, —(C 5 -C 8 )cycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C 14 )bicycloalkenyl, —(C 8 -C14)tricycloalkenyl, -(3- to 7-membered)heterocycle, or -(7- to 10-membered)bicycloheterocycle, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more R 5 groups.

70. The compound of claim 69 , wherein R 2 is —(C 1 -C 10 )alkyl substituted with two R 5 groups.
