one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the second resolution is determined as a function of a distance in the video/audio data stream between at least a part of the video/audio aspect and at least a part of the residue.
47 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the degrading is to be performed if a preselected time has elapsed after a specified previous degrading of the residue.
48 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the degrading is to be performed if a time value is framed by a preselected time window.
49 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the degrading is to be performed if at least one of an available storage space is less than a preselected amount, a condition established by a user is met, and/or a criterion corresponding to a storage management algorithm is met.
50 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution if a condition responsive to an examination of at least one other retained set of video/audio data is met.
51 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the degrading is to be performed if the condition is met, wherein the condition is related to one or more of a set of events and/or conditions excluding a specified previous degrading of the residue.
52 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the degrading is to be performed if a condition responsive to data received from a device other than a device used for a specified previous degrading of the residue is met.
53 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the degrading is to be performed if a condition responsive to data received from a device other than a device to be used for the degrading is met.
54 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:
one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading the residue to the second resolution, wherein the program product includes a program product implemented in a first device, and wherein the degrading is to be performed if a condition responsive to data received from a second device is met.
55 . The program product of claim 45 , wherein the one or more instructions for accepting input for degrading a residue of the video/audio data stream to a second resolution less than the first resolution, if a condition is met, further comprise:

59 . A system related to data management, the system comprising:
circuitry for retaining a designated portion of a video/audio aspect of a video/audio data stream at a first resolution; and
circuitry for managing at least one memory relative to the first resolution.
