Tumor antigen
Tumor antigen inducing and/or activating HLA-A2-restricted tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes that is activated by recognizing HLA-A2 and a tumor antigen peptide, and a peptide or polypeptide derived from the tumor antigen, a polynucleotide encoding the peptide or a complementary strand polynucleotide thereof, a transformant comprising a recombinant vector which comprises the polynucleotide are provided.
1. An isolated polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:49 or a peptide fragment thereof, wherein said fragment is selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:16, SEQ ID NO:17, and SEQ ID NO:18.
2. A composition comprising a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:49 or a peptide fragment thereof, wherein said fragment is selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:16, SEQ ID NO:17, and SEQ ID NO:18, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
3. A method for inducing cytotoxic T lymphocytes, comprising contacting, in vitro, lymphocytes with a composition comprising peripheral blood-mononuclear cells incubated together with a peptide fragment selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:16, SEQ ID NO:17 and SEQ ID NO:18, wherein the lymphocytes contain HLA-A2-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocytes.
