Spinal prostheses
An article including a spinal prosthesis having a unitary body with at least three attachment points attachable to spinal structure, the unitary body including a flexure assembly positioned between first and second attachment members, wherein flexure of the flexure assembly permits movement of the first attachment member relative to the second attachment member.
1. An article comprising:
a spinal prosthesis comprising a first attachment member and a second attachment member, both adapted for attachment to adjacent spinal structure;
a flexure assembly comprising one or more flexing members positioned between said first and second attachment members; and
a bellows-shaped boot placed at least partially around a portion of said first and second attachment members, and further comprising two pairs of elongate rods that extend from said attachment members.
2. The article according to claim 1 , further comprising pedicle screws for attaching the first and second attachment members to spinal structure.
3. The article according to claim 1 , further comprising pedicle screws for attaching the elongate rods to spinal structure, wherein said elongate rods pass through heads of said pedicle screws.
