Benzocycloheptapyridines as inhibitors of the receptor tyrosine kinase MET
View Patent ↗The present invention relates to 5H-benzo[4,5]cyclohepta[1,2- b ]pyridine compounds, that are useful for treating cellular proliferative diseases, for treating disorders associated with MET activity, and for inhibiting the receptor tyrosine kinase MET. The invention also related to compositions which comprise these compounds, and methods of using them to treat cancer in mammals.
1. A method of treating cancer in a mammal in need of such treatment that is comprised of administering to said mammal a therapeutically effective amount of a compound which is:
N-[(2R)-1,4-dioxan-2-ylmethyl]-N-methyl-N′-[3-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-oxo-5H-benzo[4,5]cyclohepta[1,2-b]pyridin-7-yl]sulfamide
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
wherein the cancer is gastric cancer.
