Abstract

Vacuum packed absorbent articles including diapers, kits thereof, and retail packages including vacuum packed and non vacuum packed absorbent articles are disclosed.

22 . A package of diapers for retail sale to a consumer, comprising: (a) a first plurality of diapers arranged together in a first packaging, none of the first plurality of diapers being vacuum-packed; and (b) in combination therewith, a second plurality of diapers, each of the second plurality of diapers being vacuum-packed within a flexible, substantially air impermeable encasement in which a pressure substantially less than atmospheric pressure is maintained.
